My turn to have new gizmo!

heh have a new addition to my family! And its a new wireless mouse! Haha.. Like finally upgraded something for my laptop. The old one really gave way liao it has its mind one its own. Will double-click when u press once, and the navigation sux. Not to mention the wires that keep getting in the way. No more wires now!! Heh hehe... Its an alternative present from Steffan. It was suppose to be a crumpler bag but then I din have a use for a new bag, so I asked for a mouse instead. More useful.

He had free day today.. but I think I somehow spoiled it by being sick... Argh.. In the end din get to buy his shoes lo... So sad. And he wanted to watch movie also end up nv go.... Feel so guilty... he had to stay home with me cos I not feeling well... Now I'm better already... But the episode this afternoon kinda freaked me out. Gonna be a healthy kid, and heed my trainers advice. Heehee... my unofficial trainer at least, and he doesn't know it yet ha. He would after reading my blog haha.

Well, have been slacking since my paper on Fri. I just cant help it ok? when you have so much holidays and stuff you know.... But the paper will be on thurs, so will have to start reading the notes tml. Will have to watch the webcast I have been procrastinating too..

Having nothing much to update in my blog anymore. Not so exciting anymore... Like very mundane. I even bore myself when I type my entry haiz...

But I must say i feel really lucky!Shan't say why here before I get hate mail haha...

On the road to recovery..

I think I've used the same title some time last year when I was VERY sick like for 2 weeks.. Well, as it suggests, almost well again now. Just that the cough is there on and off.... the rest of the things are fine..

Just got a call from my ex-colleague from SIM where I was temp-ing for one month. And guess what, she has an ulter motive one!!! Its MLM la... Argh... She asked me out for coffee.. At first I thought coffee only so I say ok lo. Den plan plan plan liao den she tell me got some business to reccommend to me.. Darn! And some fren of hers gonna come along.. since she has been in the business longer and blah blah blah.. I've heard that one before liao leh.. So I was like trapped la! idiot leh...

have been thikning if I should go. Havent heard a FULL talk about it. I mean I'm not going to join or anything la. But jus wondering wat so amazing about it ya-know. ANyway, shall see if I'm free. If something else crops up, then I'll come up with some stupid excuse and not go. Actually I anytime also can think of excuses not to go for it one la.

This week's rather like my rest week... Cos I still have one more open book paper, and then its time for my intern work to start.. Aint really regretting taking it up cos I have something important to do you see, and also, and by the time my intern finish, I will have something to write in my resume about. That should make job hunting easier. And I will have more cash in my pocket also.

I'm now this CSI streak!! YIPPEEE!!! Watching CSI season 2, thanks to Amy hee... Feel so happy! There's always a nice show for me on my laptop if there is nothing on TV. So cool!

Wow, think I dun have much time for fun after my exams.. Gotta meet up my frens, wanted to KTV, mahjong, workout, sentosa trip, stuff like that... Herm... oh well, I'm sure I'll be able to find time for those things if I really want to do it!

back to my CSI now hee..... =) I just hope it NEVER ends!

Just got back from sch from my 51 paper. Its a rather weird paper, which I did alot of copying, since it was open book lo...

Anyway, suppose to be preparing for tml's world religious paper.. but feeling really tired. Wonder if the med is taking effect now...

I think I've totally lost my voice! Either that or I so heaty that my ears become too blocked to even hear myself. My throat's hurting still, which is not good la.. darn. The nose's better though. And there's no more temperature! Finally sia!

Shall keep really quiet these few days, and keep drowning in water... Awoke in the wee hours of the morning cos my throat was hurting so bad. Took a strepsil and went back to sleep again. Tml's another morning paper.

My dad's been really nice to chauffer me to sch and back. It's either he knows that these will be the last few times he's sending me to sch, and back home, or my illness is making me look really sick...

Ok, its back to the books for me!

Sick sick!

I managed to lock myself in the house on Monday... I was trying to open the lock when the key broke and it was left inside the lock. Was on my way out to meet Steffan for dinner one... So, I called him to my place to help. At that point, my bro came over, only to find he cant come in as well. So, my aunt and I were stranded la...

Called my dad back, called my other aunt and thought of 101 ways to try break the lock lo. Used gigantic hammers, crowbars looking like things, only to break the lock using a saw. If you have seen my house lock before its those normal gold and silver kind, which uses a spring mechanism. We tried sawing through the silver part, but it was too hard, when we almost gave up, and my brother even volunteered to spend $40 to ask the locksmith, we decided to try sawing the golden part. I saw that upon hammering, only the golden portion dented, but the silver part was totally untouched lo... So, we saw through the golden part, broke the mechanism and viola! We were saved heh.... I must say it was a very exciting adventure haha...

Den went out dinner with my parents... Had bak kut teh, and started coughing. Before that I was jus sniffling. Den it developed into sore throat, high temperature and flu... Caught the virus from Steffan. He hasn't been to work very long liao... Oh well, now his IA is only 6 weeks left... I just hope he hang in there and finish it. As long as pass can liao...

Anyway, tues morn went to lor 7 to see doc with Steffan, came back, ran high temp till 39.2, dropped to 38.8 den it was back to 39.2 again. Tried sweating it out but to no avail... Den this morning took med, sweated out and its was 37.8... Now I lost my thermometer haha.. But I'm still feeling super heaty lo... Cos my ears are very blocked, throat still very sore, losing my voice almost totally, and the nose still stuffy.... Argh!! Can hardly hear properly...

Oh btw, I took up the intern liao... Wonder how the job will be like. Hope I'll be up to it. So its work for me beginning 9th May...

Lucky tml's paper is open book sia.. else I confirm die liao. The high temp must have killed alot of my brain cells...

Wat to do?

Had been up since 930am. Its amazing how I got up so early today lo... Also dun noe why.

Most probably I was awoken by my phone la. SICC called me. And guess what, I got the intern. SOunds weird aint it? Graduating liao den STILL have intern rite. But I really did get it! And I'm given like 2 days, today and tml, to consider the offer lo....

Still in a dilema about it. Firstly, its the low pay, where I can earn double working as a admin assistant or something lo. Secondly, the location a bit far la. Although its a direct bus there, I have to take a shuttle bus into the place itself. And there are monkeys along the road one lo. So if I suay suay miss the bus I either have to take cab in, or get the risk of being swarmed by monkeys!!

Then again, its REALLY relevant to what I have studied so far, and I get a job rite after my exams! Yes, its EXAMS!! Not when I graduate. Furthermore, I can ask the company to write me a testimonial after the intern so I can still use it for my future job interviews. AND, while I'm working there for the 3months, I can keep a lookout for other jobs too... SICC is not a bad place lo. I mean its prestigious, and the name quite big la... If I put it in my resume also look good ma. Since now I am jobless, and there are no other offers, (I haven't been looking hard enough anyway) I could use the intern to pass those time until my commencement is over... Herm..

Will I be able to survive with that small sum.. Gotta start paying back my laptop loan first... will take some time, but I'll be able to manage. For intern no CPF one wor.. Sigh..

Decisions decisions... just worried that after i agree to take the job, something else better comes along.. It'll be such a waste rite...

ARGH!! Talked it over with my dad and he's not really for it.... But den but den... its just the money actually.. This is one of those times I just wish I can close my eyes, jump in and hope for the best.

Late nite out during exams!

Ha this is one great exception! I just got back like 1hr 30mins ago heh heh...

Came back from a celebration of Steffan's birthday.

Nothing much really la. Cos firstly, I din noe what to get, and secondly, there's nothing that he wants which I can afford. He's the one who introduced me to Tiffany & Co and stuff if you remember.

Anyway, went to orchard in the afternoon, and just walked ard. Had Ajisen for lunch, they got new ramen. Ain't really sure how new it is, but to me its quite new lo. Been sometime since I went there. Went to the one at Taka... Not very nice leh... The teriyaki tasted like soya sauce chicken, and the baby octopus and jelly fish had too much flavour. The green tea is bland some more.

Then, it was tuition time for him. Had somethings up my sleeves heehee... Soon he should know what it is hee... Cant say here, since he reads my blog =p. But I'll know if he got it or not hee...

Yup so he went to Novena 2 give tuition, and I waited for him for 2 hrs lo. Went back to toa payoh to return DVD to laserflair, and den went popular to buy those coloured paper! Oh man, I almost die-ded there la. There was this aubtie, who was also choosing the couloured paper as well. Other than she was blocking the coulored paper, and thus I cannot take a closer look. Not to mention, she was also hogging the weighing machine la! I mean if you are still choosing, den mebbe u can hold on to the paper you want, and let others take a turn rite. But no, she HAD to leave her papers there! Dun noe wat she thinking!

And more strange things happened today. I was walking to Popular at Toa Payoh Interchange. And there are alot of those MLM pple. (yes, if you do not know, they are MLM pple who sell u skin products or try to pull u into the pyramid.) They pretend to ask you to do a survey, after which they tell u about other things. Anywa, I jus came out from the Toa Payoh MRT, and there were 2 of them who RAN towards me once they saw me la! Yes, they RAN! One was a woman, and another a man. Well, the lady was faster so the man jus backed off. I used my technique of "continue to walk" and managed to shake her off. Only to be bothered by another woman on my way back to the MRT. She followed me from Breadtalk all the way to the escalator la! If I had shown ANY interest, I'm sure she would have followed me to the MRT station.

ANd, when I was at Novena waiting for Steffan to end the last few mins of tuition, I went around looking for a letter box. Needed to post something urgently. ANd I was approached by those bank promoters or some promoters thingy. Take those colourful straws kinda thing. I once again used the "continue walking technique" and managed to shake one off, only to have ANOTHER guy approach me when I came out of the toilet. And his strategy was to use "please have pity on me" strategy. He actually said "please take one of the coloured straws, I get 50cents if you take one." So obviously, he knew his colleague was rejected by me. And what makes him think I would take from him?! Especially when he not as good-looking as the previous one. Then again, both of them cannot win Steffan! Yeah! Ha I can see people cringing but its true leh... Or maybe they jus not my type.

I also realised that the "have-pity-on-me" strategy is currently being adopted by those surveyors along Orchard Road. They'll now blatantly tell you how much they earn per survey. Sometimes I just cant be bothered lo. I mean yes, you are working very hard to earn little bucks, but I also have my own things to rush to, think about and why should I be bothered with how much you earn. Today was Steffan's turn to bochup them heh.

Well, after the few episodes of being "harrassed", I realise most of these promoters especially will "attack" those shopping alone. As for surveyors, i think they just anyhow whack. I guess couples are the best targets since its highly that you can gt 2 surveys at one time. And since most couples are just walking ard, so they have more time to do the surveys.

Well, back to Novena, was waiting for Steffan, wanted to give him a surprise by only appearing when he has ended tuition. However, I dodo la. I was walking ard looking for the letterbox, den I somehow landed myself rite in front of him lo! Also dun noe how I walk den there he was in front of me. So the surprise all gone liao... But I still continued my shopping and letterbox-hunting while he continued his lessons lo. And that's when I got "pounced on" by those promoters. After I met Steffan, and we walked back the same route, they dun dare approach me anymore liao haha...

Den, it was off to City Hall! Went to Suntec for the Japanese buffet. Had wanted to go other places but I still think the buffet is not bad. So went there, had our fill, and I was in control heh heh!

Found a dark spot at Esplanade so we could make out! Ha no la, bluff you one la. Went to dark corner cos I bought sparklers! Yes, SPARKLERS! Hee... been so long since I played with it, and I'm sure the same for him, so just bought cheap cheap deco lo. So lit up the place nice hee.. And had fun jus sitting by the sea playing sparklers hee... Of cos got birthday song also hee... Although it was an early celebration, I still wanted to make it as if today was his birthday heehee.

Well, that was the end of celebrations lo. A bit pathetic but den just wait ok? When I get my job muahahaha! Den can have SUPER spectacular! (",)

Steffan's sick now though. Down with flu again.. wonder how come sia... And seems like his gay buddy's sick too.. and they were at gym tog on Fri I think.. wonder if they caught the flu bug there... herm... Oh well, just hope he gets well tml lo.

I slack for a day liao. Actually its 2 la. Suppose to study on Sat but ended up playing game whole day hahaha... =p So tml must start studying again liao. Mon shall be 3251, and Tues religious, Wed is 3251, and den thurs and fri is exams liao! Wah so fast man! Den its down to one paper liao....

After exams I wan go Sentosa, sing KTV, and SLEEP MORE! Now like raccoon liao.. Sadzz.. And need more exercise.. Amore or Cali, here I come! But now I go dreamland first ba.

Woohoo! I just finished my first paper, SS. Heh, not too bad la I should say, but then its hard to say when u do essays lo. U nv noe if the answer u wrote, or anything u wrote is the thing they are looking for. Oh well, but I'm quite ok with it la. Write until my hand pain sia... Been a while since I wrote such long essays.

Well, its gonna be a while before my next paper, on Thurs.

Was caught in this super big jam when I was leaving the carpark lo. My dad came pick me up and the small small carpark route at MPSH took SO long lo! I'm sure its at least 20mins. Lucky my dad's cab is free entry one sia. Else wasted have to pay for the entry fee.

Feeling a bit sleepy now, but think I shall start on my next paper, even though its open book.... Have to finally read my textbook haha.. Din pay a cent for it cos my fren gave it to me after her course heehee... Havent flipped it at all.

Oh, Thurs went to SICC, Singapore Island Country Club for intern interview. That's right, INTERN interview haha.. Well, I was reading something in Jobstreet.com that its ok to go for intern even after grad. Reason, to gain experience lo. And hope for permenant employment in future. Then thinking again, the money's really a bit low... Sigh... still hoping on the RP job... but havent heard anything at all... Disappointing.. It's ok, still on the look out for jobs. I think even if I get a temp job as a admin assistant or somethign still can get 1000+. So still better den intern leh...

Oh well, since they have not called me, which they say they will confirm by this week, I no need to wait anymore den. Hee lucky..

The Community Center called again regarding the aerobic class.. They're gonna postpone it AGAIN! So that's the last of it, decided to pull out of the program. So I'll get my $55 bucks back heehee! Just in time to pay my bills heehee... THinking of joining amore instead... Shall look into it after my exams hee.

Tml celebrating Steffan's birthday. Wonder what to get... Hee...

Now my house alot of new old furniture haha.. Got some pretty nice looking furniture frm my aunt's colleague and they just brought it over. Time for me to do some spring cleaning and move my stuff around hee. A good chance to clear away things I dun need and dun want heh heh.

I just found that I have alot of new things lying around haha.. So better pack all of it heehee...

Yeah! All my stuff are done! No more projects, no more tutorials watsoever! Heh heh..

Now feeling a bit weird, cos I've been awake for more then 24hrs! Well, I did slp from 8-9am, before it was time for school..

Was rushing my project for 3251. Damn shit la! My part was like super long! And I spent more den 24 hours on it! To make it worse, on tues I had the bolt of high temp again. Weird... After panadol its back to normal again...

Well, these few days I've just been rushing projects and projects and falling sick generally ha. Finally, all the chaos are over!

It's study week now. I feel better when I can concentrate on doing one thing at a time. Tml going to sch to get my religious test paper. N also look to see if my SS test paper is ready or not heh...

Monday's 66 presentation. Something that take less den 10 mins. Den its the path down to the end of my NUS life.

Mother's Day's coming. Racking my brain wat to get for my mum. Before that gotta rack my brain for what to get for Steffan's birthday.. Hai.. no idea... What to get someone who has everything lo...

Just submitted my CS3266 project this afternoon. It's really bad la. but I dun really care liao. Anyway I can't do anything about it when the deadline's up rite.

Anyway, it's gone and done with, left my 51 which is due in 4 days? Haha... So dead. So the main focus's all on it liao. Before I start preparing for my exams...

have been neglecting my bf the past few days lo. Cos was trying to do my proj... But today was a good day!

Must say today's really like good lo. I mean other then my proj not very well, but its over! And ended up not going for my SS lecture! Missed the exams talk and stuff lo.. Sad leh.. but den no choice, had alot to do for my proj...

So pple out there, if u attended SSA2209 lecture, please let me know wat the lecturer, Dr Quek, said about those exam stuff...

Din really want to go for CS3266 lecture one. Cos din have anything to do until 4pm after the proj submission. Lucky got Christopher. Had lunch and went print notes den after that went for lecture. Lucky he ask me to go man! Cos there was a survey after the lecture. The curvey's like 20 mins max! And its $10 per person lo!!! Woa!! So had my lunch and dinner money paid liao!

Steffan's tuition was cancelled today. So it was dinner with him, since I've been neglecting him over the weekend. Some more on sunday he even cancelled meeting his frens to keep me company.. And on Sat he just sat at my house with his laptop and watch dvd while I did my proj. And he's really ok with me eating with my guy frens cos he trusts me alot alot hee. And I trust him too. :-)

Today's the third month we've been together. And he actually rushed from his running training to his house to just call me and say "Happy 3rd month" haha.. so silly. But sweet also..

but today he got played out by the ST pple lo. There's this invitation relay from the SAF apparently. the invitatión's for ST Kinetics, 50 persons, 2km each. And seems like the company has been winning for some time. Anyway, they have trainings on Mon, Wed & Fri. And becos the past few days have been raining, the trainings have been cancelled lo. But today no rain. So he waited at the meeting place for the pple but nobody came. And apparently they changed the training time to Tues and NOBODY told him lo!! It's like SO weird la. I mean must tell pple one ma. Firstly, so that others can plan their other things and also its basic courteousy lo! Not everybody so nothing to do that everyday after work nothing to do one leh..

On the other hand, although I din like them for standing my bf up, I din really mind cos this means I could meet him earlier, and we could spend more time together! Heh heh..

On Sunday, we went to Toa Payoh Crystal Jade for dinner cos I wanted to get some good food and had craving for the Sour and spicy noodles. ANd boy, THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I'M GONNA GO INTO TOA PAYOH CRYSTAL JADE!!!

The thing was really terrible man. I mean other then the shark's fin rice that Steffan had, the food was really terrible leh! Standard drop drastically. The portions shrunk and the quality and taste also not as good as before. I wonder wat happened to the chef and management sia. I think they saved on the ingredients man. Stingy pple! And the price still the same leh.. not as if the price cheaper!

No more tpy crystal jade liao. Disappointed le. But I'm sure there are more good food out there!

Shall hunt them down! Heh...

With regards to the previous post, that nite I developed a fever that was 38.8! Almost thought my brain was gonna be fried. Immediately took 2 panadols, but just couldn't get to slp. How bad was that! After some time, finally slept, and woke up with a lower temp of 37.7. At least it went down... den another 2 panadols, and I'm well again.

Dun even noe wat hit me.. Just glad I'm really fine now.

Just got my gmail account too! Hee now my hotmail clean clean, cos i forward everything to gmail muahahaha! It'll b mostly used as storage I guess, so no one needs to know its add heh...

Think I'm over tired gonna slp now. Tml is testing time for my online petshop. Hope it works lo... Hope my shopping cart is ok liao. Found a new way to solve the bottleneck gotta test it out tml.

Feeling weird..

Not exactly sick, but dun noe wat's bothering me. My face's like really warm and my neck as well, but the other parts of my body seems to b of a lower temperature. There's no sniffling, or sore throat or cough. Not to mention den ache near the shoulders.

CSI!!

Should be studying now, since I have my SS test later at 6.15pm!! Yes, I'm in sch again, on my free day, waiting till evening time to take a test. Not studying it as hard as before, cos the last time i did, I realised its no use lo. It's essay response leh. Means something like comprehension. So I'm just reading the notes. Not touching the readings.

Waiting for one more hour to do a research expt later. Will have additional $12 after one hr's work. Of browsing websites ha. Was the last person to sign up last nite. Lucky me!!

Anyway, am mulit-tasking now. Re-reading the notes I read last nite, and also blogging haha.

Watched the 1st episode of season 4 of CSI last nite!! Grissom grew a beard!! Before that when I saw the trailer, I told Amy he looked like a religious figure. Which he still did last nite haha. Like holy person like that. It's still nice after I watched so MANY episodes. And everytime I come across a nice story, I'll end up telling Steffan ALL the details and how they solve the crime ha. I think he sick of it liao haha.

And Katherine/Catherine going like really low-cut la. Now its spag strap, no more jackets!! Wonder how her male colleagues work. Sarah looks different now. I think she went to rebond her hair or something... Looked a bit funny... Nick, as usual becoming more and more side-kick. I think other den looking cute, he seems to not have that much intelligence compared to the others. Wonder how he got into CSI. Then again, when u have the perfect team like Grissom and Catherine, there seems to be not much chance for u to shine through.

There will b a continuation to the first episode. So amazed that there are so many stories to it! MUST WATCH ALL SEASONS!! Gonna tahan until after exams b4 I start on my CSI spree again muahahha!

Ok, going back to my notes now... Haizz.. Should have taken the Geog SS, but i think there was some clash with my other essential modules, so had no choice but to take the History one. I'm SO not a history person... But I'm still a better Arts person den Computing hahaha.

I'm so lagging behind in my work. My website's due on Monday, and my shopping cart's not fully functional yet. Not to mention the other validations that jus heard my TA said yesterday. *freak*

Still have another paper due next Friday. And GV's not getting back to us yet. Looks like they're not gonna grant us an interview la. But this paper's still better den programming. Still have 4 more days to rush it out after my website thingy. Thinking of strating a website for something, since I have all the necessary codes and stuff. Jus not sure how to begin. And have to have some promotion la. Else my website will be so dead! Alumni stuff basically actually.. Now still thinking about it... Shall start working on it after my deadlines.

Shall be real official about it. I know they had a website liao. But its like so outdated. So, think I shall be more active about it. I like to take responsibilty. Mebbe even submit proposal and stuff. Den gather a few pple to work together. Will b interesting heh.. Ok, back to my notes liao. Just blogging to avoid having to read the boring notes la hahaha... Starting april....

2nd day of april now. Had NO tricks played on me on April Fools' day ha think most f my frens have grown out of it already. Lucky me heee.

Finished another test on Friday. So now I still have one more SS mid-term and 2 projects. Feel less stressed liao.

Yesterday went to Chinatown with Amy to get some cheap CDs. Must say the CDs there are really cheap lo. Cos they are direct imports from China. So, mostly the Chinese song CDs ae cheaper. Wated to get the Ultimate Kylie CD for Steffan but realised that their copy is more ex den the ones selling at HMV. So decided to drop the idea. I guess english CDs there are still not THAT chepa yet.

Gigi's coming down to Singapore from Hongkong this summer. If u're wondering who she is and how I know her, she's actually an ex-classmate of mine in my secondary school days. She was then a hongkong sutdent who came to Singapore to study. Now she's back in Hongkong studying dentistry! It's like so cool! Anyway, she kind of suddenly msned me last nite... *freaked* but ok la. Jus told me she was coming down this summer, and wondering if our seondary class could meet up. So, those of u IJ-ians, esp S4 peeps u noe what to do liao haha. Even for me, it has been a long time since I me up with my sec class people. I guess I've always been closer to my band frens more haha. I've always been cloer to my fresn in my CCa be it during sec sch or JC times ha. And I believe that my life in sch has been espescially wonderful BECAUSE of CCAs. And it's not an excuse for me to have bad grades hor.

Well, back to the topic of cheap CDs. Went to chinatown with Amy, and on our way back, we were just thinking what good business the CD shop uncle is having, and of course about her experience in China and those pirated CD shops there. In fact, the local shop looked a bit like the one she went to in China. Jus that here, it's ALL original one. Anywa, we were just crapping and came upon the idea that we should set up one shop like the uncle. I'll stay in Singapore to look after the store. Den she can stay in China and take care of production of the CDs, and mayb we can get Delphie to be our law consultant! Haha.. And we were jus like joking about Delphie's woe, having to deal with the authorities in case our CDs were found to be pirated. Haha! Very funny man. I went home pondering over the possibilities. Even thought Ms Huang can join us and display her marketing skills hahaha...

Study's week coming!! Planning to have MJ or KTV during the beginning of it. But dun noe how are the others' response.... And not forgetting, I'm also not sure if I'm ready fully for all my papers.. Oh well, shal wait for my deadlines to be over, and all my projects to be submitted before I start anything. Heh...

Such a cooling day today! And my parents' house have air con liao!! Just the bedrooms though. And this morning my mum was complaining about how cold she was haha.. But I think should be quite shiok. Den again, I'm not one who an tahan air con. Cos I get cold very easily one. I more not afraid of heat. And if i want to I an always pop over and stay in the room hee...

My parents like finally decide to splurge on themselves lo. Which is good. They've worked so hard, its time or them to enjoy also. Jus that my bro is like living off them. Never even volunteer to pay a bit for the aircon or the bills one... Dun noe where all his money go to one leh.... Still on a lookout for a gf for him!! I WAN A SISTER-IN-LAW-TO-BE!!! So i can sponger on her hahahahaha!! And there will be somone to curry favour me hahahahaa!! *evil grinz*

Finally finished the presentation. Worst ever in my NUS life. Cant blame me if the lecture notes are not clear and everything ma...

Anyway, I din think we were the worst groups hahaha. I think alot of pple did not know how to present lo. And since we're not the first group, I think the prof was already immune to disappointment liao haha! Lucky us!

Well, finally one more thing is settled, but still have 2 more projects, one small quiz and mid-term.

Quiz's one fri, mid-term's next wed, and proj's due like in 2 weeks' time. Aren't i busy!

Oh if pple have been faithfully reading my blog, should know about the aerobic class that I signed up last time. It's like FURTHER postponed till 13th April lo! They say they need 15 pple to make the class. Seems like they cant even HAVE 15 pple! Sighz! If this happens one more time, I definately ask for my refund. Trying to cheat my money like that!

Just finished CSI Season 1 last nite heh heh.... And later will have the last episode of Season Three. It's just SUCH A SUPER COOL SHOW lo!!!

Shall try to get to watch ALL the cds! but have to wait till my work's all done..

Throat feeling weird. Better drink LOTS of water... I think if I dun take care of it, it'll become a full blown sore throat lo. And this is definately not the time to fall sick lo. So many deadlines!

Just watched The Eye 10. Actually wanted to watch it at PS, but its like SO TOTALLY full! Well, it IS weekend and the show's rather new so yeah...

For those who noe me, or have watched scary movies with me know that I'm really a scaredy cat la. Actually last time also not like that one. But like 2 or 3 yrs ago some how became very frightened. Anyway, went to watch The Eye 10, knowing most prob that I'll freak myself out.

Rather disappointing I should say. Wasn't as good as I thought it might be. I mean its still quite scary.. or should I say it has alot of scenes like things suddenly popping up in your face kinda thing. But other than that like nothing much. VERY humorous compared to the previous 2 series. Yes, u did not read wrongly, it was humurous lo. Got alot of funny scenes one lo haha...

And they also put some common jokes that we hear into the show. but basically the story just wants to tell us not to mess with things we dun really noe abt.

Got sad love story also one..

Must say the makeup is still not bad. But the show was rather short only. about 1hr 30mins. Another over hyped show. Sadly...

Been staying home during the hols. Felt quite nice to be home. Feel that the parents missed me heh heh...

And I got surprise at nite! Steffan bought me NYDC cheese cake heh. Jus finished it a few hours ago. Even bought my aunt a mango cake. Trying to score points leh. Haha.... I think it worked heh...

Super busy

Wah, Havent update my blog like in ages. Its the longest break ever man... But I'm up to neck in work lo.

Life = sch. No fun nothing, well, but i did manage to catch Hitch, and spend time with my frens and with my bf haha... Contradicting huh.

Been spending ALL my free time in sch. ANY free time in fact. My favourite haunt will be SOC level 6 lo. Cos only ONE lab has all the software need to do my project. If possible, I'll like camp there lo. Cos my work is beginning to pile... And I hope to finish my 66 asap.

Still have CS3251 term paper, a presentation, SS 2nd mid-term, and a GEK test. Not to mention the SS tutorial which requires us to read the passages. Wondering if I should watch the 66 lecture which is supposedly a guest lecture. But being a kiasu student, shall just take a look to see if he says anything about phase 2 project.

I usually go and hide in my corner in SS tutorial. Never contribute at all haha just look interested.

Well, that's the max I can blog for now. It's back to work AGAIN for me!

Today had dinner with his parents again at the Crystal Jade at Toa Payoh.. Argh I feel that I din leave a very gd impression leh.. Oh well...

I'm more worried about dear dear's health... His turn to b sickee liao. I think the crazy schedule he has is really taking a toil on him.... Down with flu liao... haizz... Any remedies out there?

Jus got home from lunch with dear dear heh.. He skiving again... Anyway, I'm suppose to go my first lesson today, guess wat, I din go hahahhaa..

Firstly I was late la, and secondly, when I alighted at the bus stop I was disorientated and din noe where the CC was... Finally found it after like 15 mins... But by then I was almost like 30mins late liao. So jus heck it la. Decided not to go in 30 mins late. Shall wait for the next lesson lo.. which is next week hahaha... =p

I'm suppose to be asleep now cos I gotta be up at 930am.. but something's bothering me....

I was able to push it off my mind when I was trying hard to study for my mid-term this thurs, but when I lie in bed, with nothing else in my mind, the bugging feeling resurfaces.

It was just planted there. And I thought I could handle it. But now, I'm beginning to doubt my own abilities. I mean it wasn't really a big fault, and I made the same fault myself, den why am I like double-standarding others?

I guess apart from my feeling of foolishness of thinking otherwise, it's also the frustrated feeling of not knowing why there would be a bugging feeling.....

Why should there when the other person doesn't care a hoot about it. Den why the questions.... Only if the question wasn't asked at all, i wouldn't feel so bad... and now, to make it worse, I have no idea how come I feel bad...

How ironic can the mind get...

I like to tackle and take control of my emotions. Because, I dun like the sad and depressed feeling... Cos nothing gets solved and u jus feel worse if u feel sad and sorry for urself. It may become something even worse, and u start to doubt urself.

It's not that I nv feel sad, I do too... but its for a really short period of time. Cos I'm able to think of other stuff, sometimes, I simply ignore the sad feeling, and other times jus turn it into some other emotions.

But to tackle the feeling of sadness, I need to know what is causing it. At this point, I noe what is not causing it.

Not being able to go to bed is making it worse. I definately feel better when I'm fully rested.

Maybe like he said, its becos he took it so light-heartedly while it took me some courage to admit... but even if he made the same mistake as me does not mean i'll feel less guilty abt it.. cos I'm still feeling guilty abt it, still regretting abt it.... its not like that compare one ma...

Sometimes I noe I'll hate the answers that I'll get if I ask a question. So to avoid that, i feign ignorance, or simply just not ask. Somethings seemed unavoidable. Like jus now. I din even need to ask...

Argh.. feeling really mixed up now. like I've mentioned, I've made the SAME fault as well, but I cant seem to take the fact that he has made the same mistake. WHY??? And there really isn't anything bad about being honest rite. Which I really appreciate and encourage. But sometimes, the truth really hurts. And I really can't handle the truth.. haha..

Herm.... nv been so melanchonic (however u spell that) b4.. Was always able to take things in my stride. Damn! I really hate this!

Shall study really hard and concentrate on my studies first. Tests are more impt. Other things when I more free den say ba. Tackle the things that are at hand first. Mayb I'm jus stressed up. When the tests over, and I get my long long slp, things will be ok.

Been feeling rather tired these days. Wonder why... Haven't been staying up alot leh... Shall try to slp in more.

This week got 2 tests leh! Den still need to do 66.... haizz... stress... and feeling slpy is not helping lo.

Havent blog these few days cos generally feeling very tired lo... Too lazy to blog.

Even now also feel tired. Oh, the most impt thing that happened these past few days was....

I went to his place on Sunday... cos his parents invited me over for dinner lo... And his dad cooked la.... heh heh honoured leh.. Eat chef's cooking ok...

Ha i super score point. Bought ice cream to the house and scooped them for his parents heehee... :-) So I passed the test heehee...

Fun day!!

Just came back from an outing with the gals. It was just a simple dinner at J8 Pasta Mania and then we jus hung around the area to shop for Deb's cuz's bday present. Den after that went to get bubble tea and sit down and chat.

Everyone is damn funny la.. as in the conversations we have.. not the people hahaha...

Its been a long time since I went out with a big group of gals lo. Back to the Secondary feeling again... It was really fun lo. Must plan more outings more often. Especially there was the mention of MAHJONG!!! hahahaha... hands itchy liao.. Been sometime since I played mahjong liao leh... Den now got kakees and venue.... we lack THE DAY!!!

THE DAY to play mahjong... its diffcult lo. Cos of the work we have now... and everyone's with work up to their necks! And weird schedules here and there, its a bit tough lo.... But like gemaine say, WHEN THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY! haha.... hey peeps, find one day leh. I wed free day, free on Sunday evenings onwards. Heh actually it ain't really break time. Its jus the time before I meet the gals for dinner. Now enjoying aircon in computing lab.

Amy was asking if I wanted to go back home. But thinking of the trip back and forth, and not to mention the heat in my house, I think its still better to stay in school and enjoy the aircon. Furthermore, I can wait for dear dear and we can take the same train!

Another 30mins before I proceed down to Boon Lay mrt to meet my dear dear. That's so I need not rush with the 6pm crowd, and we can spend longer time together since the mrt ride frm Boon Lay to our destination is longer.

He's going to gym at Somerset while I meet the gals at Bishan at 730pm. Just nice, since he got to b at Somerset like 7pm. Normally we reach Toa Payoh at 7, so the timing's about just rite.

had lunch with dear dear today!! Heh surprise surprise... if u're wondering why he's not at work, he's actually out to lunch, and to the library to borrow books on Excel programming. So yup, meet up for lunch. And later meeting again!! Haha....

Dear dear's out on his run now, while I be at home wait for him to finish his run.

Meanwhile, shall update my blog. Another normal day for me today. Had class, lunch with Amy. But went to work on my database for my 66. Think I managed to set up all my tables. The number of tables look very little leh.. Especially in comparison to my 3214.. well, this time I decided, I shall jus try to fulfil the basics first before attempting to make the thing really full scale.

Anyhow, got some data into the database. Finally settled for MS SQL since I was really having problems with Oracle. Its hard to work in UNIX when u can't click, and pratically have to type everything into the database lo. And if u have a typo in the middle of the sentence, you would have to BACKSPACE, yes backspace, all the way to the point where the mistake occurred to edit it. Even cut and paste is difficult, as UNIX is rather particular about spaces in between your sentences.

Although you can type all your data into a notepad file and run it, its still rather tedious to visualize the tables. And also its because I'm not sure how I can do that. I did it for 3214 but now have already forgotten.

Wow, that was just 2 paragraphs of very technical stuff.... Sorry for boring you people out there heh heh.... Jus that for this semester, I seem to be ONLY taking CS3266 this module haha.. it's always on my mind since its 5MCs, and its making me like programming jus a wee bit more...

Oh did I mention that I signed up for the aerobic dance at AMK CC? Lesson is every wed, 1030-1130am. Cool eh... heh gonna go on my own.. it sounds like alot of fun. So exciting... Lessons starts next week. Dear dear's gonna support me by buying me the gear haha... I jus casually asked wat to wear ma....

Finally had the chance to like go on a proper date today. Usually its pak tor on the go for the 2 of us. Which means that we meet up at the mrt station to take the train home lo. But today went Funan, since his dad wanted to get an external HDD. So we got a proper date. The next one is on Saturday, and a little on Sunday. The feeling's like our second date like that hee.... Guess absence does make the heart grow fonder. Although its not that good also.

Was suppose to have a family lunch at the harbourfront resturant. Dim sum buffet, weekends only abt 20 per pax. weekdays only 14 after all the +++ and its HIGH CLASS dim sum. Its a chinese resturant after all. Long Men is its name. Dear dear's invited too leh!! But just heard that one of my relative's baby is celebrating her first month on the Sunday also, so not sure if the buffet is still on.... And dun noe if I have to go or not... We're not really that close anymore u noe... Oh well, its up to dad to decide now.

My parents have this mentality that we should go for occassions like first months, weddings etc etc. Firstly, to make the elders like see us to see how we have grown into, but most imptly is because we have to go so the next time if we hold such celebrations, people will come to ours as well.... Its rather true but... sometimes I very lazy leh.... lazy to socialise basically. And mostly when me and my brother are there, nobody toks to us one... Its jus to my dad or my aunt. So the 2 of us quite redundant.

I remember once my grandfather, my mum's dad, actually thought I was my brother's girlfriend lah!!! Aiyo..... old liao...

Resumes & Cover Letters

Today's not really a great day. For one thing, I spent like my WHOLE day doing the resume and cover letter for the Republic Poly application.

At first was rather enthu about writing it for the application lo. But i write until now super sian liao.... All the enthu drained.

Things not going very well for dear dear I think.... Think he's getting over stressed.. and there really ain't anything I can do.... Think he is doing too many things at a time... and he is being torn in many directions. His work, gym, tuition, his dad, family in general, his frens, and me lo... Oh well, things will be back to normal when his dad returns cos now I think his dad is trying to spend more time with him. So like ask him out and stuff... I think he's not really used to having his dad back. So having some problems now...

Now I'm trying to prevent myself from slacking for 3266 lo. Tml gonna do my database. Hope I can get my data in my database, so I have a full functioning database to test my pages with. If I can get that up, then i would be on track or I hope I not too slow. Since today's tut is about WebLogic only.

Wonder how to apply for jobs in career fair sia.... Shall go find out on Friday and bring all my "weapons" on Sunday when I go with dear dear again!

I'm watching the 9pm show on Channel 8 now. Really funny sia haha... Its purely for entertainment one la... But alot of comical scences haha.

I think something's not right with Internet Explorer... When I click on the drop down list for the addresses, the whole IE jus hangs.. Den I have to End task and ALL my IE windows that are open will like just close... I hope its not a virus lo. I need my laptop to do my 66 one leh.... Dun have funny things happening now can?

I jus hope its not something that will cause my whole laptop to crash man....

Now that term break is OFFICIALLy over, its time to be hardworking and back to work now! At least for now I've got the feeling to do some work.

Steffan's dad is back from China for 2 weeks, before he goes back again. So he should be busy keeping his dad company. There was a mention about a gathering with his dad and mum.. scary... 2nd trauma for me hee...

I've finally decided to join the aerobic class held in CC. I think its really cheap den getting a gym membership. At least for my financial status now lo hee.. TIme to combat those fats!

wah hand itchy for mj again leh.. Been some time since I last played.. herm... time to set up a session.

The career's fair next week. Anybody wanna go? Its time to get my resume ready liao. And go there get a job. Like quite fun heh.. ANyone wan go also?? Hope its a good fair. Not too many of those insurance or real estate thingy...

Friday FINALLY met Jin Cheng, and Christopher for lunch at Biz ad. Had my Roast Chicken.. Yum yum.. I think the western food is like the only thing edible at the Biz Ad canteen. And had my Strawberry Milkshake!! Another GOOD product of Biz Ad heh...

Anyhow, after that went for the $5 experiment. So my lunch was FREE!! Heh heh.. Still got left over.

Just got my hp bill today... its up like almost 50%.. that's not good. So i better ration my smses, or use less for phone calls. Its ok. I hope I can get like 400 points by next month, and mebbe claim some movie passes or something. Even if I don't I'll still swap over to Singtel. Cos there is a phone that Steffan recommend me and the price drop liao!!

Now with 3G out, the phones are gonna drop lo. Hehe... The phone's really cool sia.. can swerve one. But its gonna cost me a bit of my fortune. But no worries, I'll earn it back really soon! Or save the amount heh heh... Can't wait for the 12th March!

Today went to Bugis to have forg leg. Wah its really DARE sia!! Yummy yummy.. but its ex lo... Still.... *drools* Shall make it a monthly thing to eat that hahaha.. =p

Oh no.. phase 2 for 66 is out. Now I basically have to make all the things to work. After the previous time, shall start early this time. Tml Steffan's busy... so shall get work done tml hee.... good to start early!

Today went back to school for my 66 grading and to do an experiment. Haizz.. think my 66 grading not very good leh.. I somehow lost the chance to score in this part.. jialat. A bit worried since its like 50% of the whole module. And it seems like alot of pple can score full marks for it one... Oh well, jus hope my CAP dun get TOO affected...

Got my $10 for this research experiment I did today hee.. That was like my dinner money hee. Jus nice. But I must say it was rather bo hua lo... Cos usually the experiments are like $10/hr. But this one took like 1hr 30mins... Then again, this had a bonus of $20 for the top 5 performers of the experiment so if u did get to be top 5, then it will be worth it. :-) But ok la. I just want some additional income. Decided I shall join ALL experiments that I noe about ha. Earn as much as I can before I graduate. Its not all the time u have money being emailed to you, you know. Heh.... And the stuff to do usually quite easy so yup.

Furthermore, its not every faculty that have such experiments. Seems like Computing is one of the faculty that has alot of such things. Tml I've got another survey to be done at Biz Ad. Jus fill in a survey, and I'll get $5 for like 30 mins of work. I guess if i fill in the survery fast, it'll be less den 30mins lo. Heee...

Got a strange mail from Singtel today. They actually sent me a bill with nothing for me to pay lo. Which is like weird lo. Cos its end of Feb soon, they should be sending me the bill to pay for my broadband subscription for next month. Then I got the $0.00 bill... oh well, they jus better not cut my connection...

Woa! Zoe Tay jus gave birth today! I think her kid will be like sponsered all the way until he grows out of his diapers wearing days and stuff... Looks like Zoe's gonna be retiring liao.

I think I had a rather good holiday. Actually should say I have a better holiday den some of my frens. SOme pple are rushing their essays, projects and mid-terms, while I have NOTHING to worry about lo. Cos my mid-terms were before the holiday, and I have no projects or anything due soon. Quite lucky...

Oh, I got an sms this morning from Amy. From HONGKONG leh... She's sure having a swell time... *envious* heh...

Its been sometime since I go on holiday liao.. Herm think I shall start saving to go somewhere hee...

Next month gonna change service provider liao. Change to Singtel, since dear dear changing also. Then we can have the first 7 digits of our hp number same heehee.... and the second phone can get 50% off some more. Cool sia...

Anyway have to wait till next month cos that is when dear dear's contract's up but its ok hee... Next time will have lesser time lag between smses hee...

Haha been talking so much about the things Steffan did for me, I finally did something today that made the big man SO touched hee...

Normally I also got do other stuff la. Like being understanding and stuff, today is jus a special hee.

He had another self declared holiday from his IA lo. Went in the morning den afternoon come look for me again...

Actually today started out very sad for me one. Dear dear say I made of water hee.. but really ma.. isn't that wat woman are made of? Heehee... but since its over, its OVER. I dun like to remember bad things. Take up space in my memory only. But also have to learn from it.

Anyhow, we jus spent the afternoon at my house cos we scared get spotted by his mum if we went central =p. He very poor thing leh.... So tired lo... So I let him slp on my bed, while I watch tv and play online games hee... Jus let him rest for an hour.

Den, he was off to tuition at Sengkang. LIke the idea he earning money for our future hee.. but den it makes him very tired and very busy which is a bit heart aching. Anyway, that was JUS the beginning of my spectacular haha...

Well, actually my ploy very simple lo. Just surprise him by appearing where he least expected. And I SO TOTALLY succeeded hehee..

Well, he was giving tuition at Sengkang. And he knew I was giving him a surprise. So, he would have been expecting me to be there waiting to surprise him when his tuition ended. On thinking of that, I decided, since he would be going to potong pasir to take 142 back to toa payoh, I shall ambush him there lo.

I knew he would be disappointed when he din see me at Sengkang, and start wondering wat the surprise mayb. When he saw me at potong pasir he SO shocked lo... The whole face red red... eyes red red also... talk also funny funny one heehee so touched wor.. Haha.. So glad my plan succeeded.

Was so worried that he may take train all the way back to Toa Payoh or something and I would miss him. Looks like my wait paid off hee...

It was jus a simple gesture lo. I mean since I got nothing to do, and my mum wasn't gonna cook dinner, so I just went there wait for him lo. Din expect he would be so touched hee..

Well, now i'm thinking of going gym or aerobics class... Thinking of joining amore since they have a branch at toa payoh central. That would be convenient and also, amore is for ladies only. Won't have strange looks. But, wonder wat the price is like. And there isnt any promotion or anything now... Last time got alot of promotions one... but din join. Feel wasted sia... Its ok. Mebbe I should join California Fitness with dear dear haha. Den one of our weekend activites will be gyming. Or we can spend more time together since sometimes he go during weekdays. And most importantly, I can get rid of the tummy that's growing (i'm not pregnant hor..), and have a healthier lfestyle. Nowadays like gonna fall sick fall sick again like that... I'm already too freaked by the experience I had before new year liao. Sick for 2 weeks leh!! My personal record.

Feel like going to the beach soon. Shall go with Steffan on Saturday heehee.. I like the sun alot again. :-)

Now enjoying my holidays hee.. have been rushing alot of things before it, so it really feels good to jus have nothing to rush or do hee...

Our 5 or rather 4 day break

Well well, sunday was the 1st day of our 5 day break. Yes, Sunday was included as well even though NUS now works a 5-day week schedule. What rubbish!

Anyway, Friday still have World Religions lecture. Actually, rather glad that it the World Religions lecture. If it was any other lecture of my module, I would have 2nd thoughts about going to sch.

Anyone out there missed me? Heh... Had been hibernating these few days due to mid-terms and projects. Well, actually haven't been hibernating. Some people will have saw me online, but not talking to much people. Had wanted to go Sentosa with Ms Huang and Ms Tan this week but no news. Anyway wouldn't have been able to make it cos on MY FREE DAY, I had a mid-term test.

To top it off, it was the ever boring Singapore Studies module. And the best part, it was held at 6.15pm at LT11! Haizz... so I had to go to sch on my free day, for a mid-term, at 6.15! Wah win liao lo. So over the weekend I was like reading the fall of Singapore, everything about PAP and the merger between Malaysia and Singapore. And in the end, I think the test didn't need us to have too much background, since it was a response-essay. Most of the questions asked you to refer to the passage given. Furthermore, there is jus NOT enough time for a 100 mark test lo. We only like had 1 hr, and to write 2 pages in an hr is not considered gd enough in the History Department of NUS. At least that's wat my tutor told the class.

And when it was finally over, I had to study for the 2nd mid-term on the coming Friday. So on Thursday night, I was reading through my World Religions book. The text was BORING I should say, it has alot of weird ways the author tries to put the point across which make it very hard to capture the information. Still it was better den reading about how Percival (the guy who surrended to the Jap in WW2) deployed his men, and tried to defend Singapore.

And the test was alot better den the SS one lo. Quite fun. Not to mention the lecturers were entertaining too haha. I really like this module so much! Must really thank AMy for reccommending this mod to me lo. Actually, I almost didn't get the module. It only accepts like 75 pple in its pioneer semester. And Amy was my saviour. I wanted to put 500 points. Den she told me nv to put an even number in CORS. So, I put in ALL the remaining points in my General Account, which was 509 or something. And I remember the cut off point was like 507. Phew! I made it hee.. But the WEIRD thing is, I found out that Steffan's ex was in that class too!! Talk about small world!

But ok la. We nv bother about each other. I dun think she even noe of my existence hee... Well, back to my busy schedule.

While I was busy reading the tons of readings I had for both the mid-terms, there was actually a 3266 awaiting for me that was due today. But I managed to procrastinate until Saturday to begin working on it again.

Actually since yesterday I woke up at 10 (I think), I havent slpt AT ALL until now. Reason being, to rush the 3266 webpages lo. Do until this morning... And Steffan even took half day to come help me do my project lo... Well, his half day somehow became a day off la heh... So we spent ALOT more time together today. Yeah! Hee...

I jus want to say that I really feel so lucky lo. Steffan actually asked for a half day off, bought me breakfast, and help me put in all the bowls and cups so I can eat lo...

Den in order to not let my aunt get suspicious, he left the house, only to return when my aunt has gone to work.

And he came back to help me finish MY project lo! And so we were really like slogging it out this morning. And when it was done, he had to leave the house once again so that my dad can fetch me to school lo...

Den after I went to sch, he had no place to go but to go home lo. Only to meet me when I returned from school hee....

Then again, he had to leave AGAIN, so he won't meet my mum. Otherwise, my mum will ask how come he's back so early and stuff. So he FINALLY went home to take a proper rest after traveling to and fro my place SO many times.

I noe he stay very near la. But dun need like that to prove it rite.

And when he was trying to hide from my mother, my mother actually called to say that she was working overtime haha so its like if he had known, he need not go home lo. And meet him for dinner at Toa Payoh AGAIN haha.... He even cancelled his tuition cos today was rather relaxing. Quite glad the break's here. Can spend more time with him..

The past few days had been quite happening... Especially SUNDAY!!! 20th Feburary!! Becos....

HE COOK LUNCH FOR ME!!!

And it was DELICIOUS!!! YUM YUM!! Had spaghetti, taiwan sausages, a chicken drumstick and clam chowder soup!! We jus went to his place and while he was cooking for me I jus did my 3266 project. He even gave me a foot scrub lo!! He jus bought those foot scrub thingy from watson's and I had foot scrub haha. I was QUEEN for a day heehee... Jus that this morning he brought me breakfast, and helped me so much for my project was very touched lo. He actually help me do leh!! Like draw the flowchart cos the day b4 I din slp at all... I mean he's not obliged to lo. Yeah everything abt he's my bf and stuff... but I dun think he's really obliged to do my work also leh.. I mean it's my SCHOOL work lo...

Well, really taught me a good lesson.. Should have started my work earlier, be responsible for it, so that I won't end up draggin pple, esp the one I care so much about, into a frenzy and rush. So dun worry, I learnt a good lesson today! Shall commit it to memory!

Argh now I'm feeling like really tired out.... Bedtime for me liao... Zzzzz.........

I think those who attended CS3266 lecture knows me....

Well well, today is Valentine's Day, the last few minutes of it at least. There wasn't any celebration expected today, since we had already celebrated on Saturday and also, he was working and I had school.

Anyhow, had my 12-2pm SS lecture and later went to the library to photocopy my readings. Still not done. Was wondering how I was going to photocopy so much in like one hour plus, an angel arrived! Haha... angel Steffan. He actually took half day from his manager and came to NUS to look for me lo. Haha...

Surprise number 1! Was so surprised and happy to see him ha. Like dreaming lo! Anyhow, managed to get more of my readings printed, but still not done, as there was just too many. But I'm ahead of the lecturer liao. So not too bad. Shall print more like tml or some other day.

Then, there was surprise number 2! And it was VERY VERY BIG surprise lo! He accompanied to my CS3266 lecture, 4-6pm. We sat at the back row, with all my other frens lo.

He left the lecture halfway to the washroom, or so he said. He came in, with a rose in his hands, and walked up and down the aisle, behind and in front of the lecturer and purposely blocked the projector when he was walking up! So it was like the whole LT was wondering wat this fellow was up to? And so their eyes followed him up the aisle, to where I was sitting and handed me the rose la. Wah SO PAISEH!!! Then got pple crane neck to see who was the gal lo... And the BEST part is, the lecture is webcasted!!! So, if u're watching the webcast, u can actually see this shadow that blocked the projector... Yes, that's him! Haha... I trying to get the screen capture so will post up later heh...

Then my frens all pretend dun noe me. Never talk to me... haha think eveyrbody was very paiseh lo.
Jus hope nobody remembers heh heh...

Well, jus now was MY turn to surprise him hor. Haha. Met him after his tuition, on the reason that I had a library book to return. Actually he knew I was up to something liao but I still managed to shock him.

Because.... I got him A BLUE ROSE! Haha I think there not much guys have rose one lo hee.... SO it'll be the FIRST flower in his life ever hahaha! Got him a vday cake and also a vday present. Not very ex la. All cheap cheap one. Breadtalk after 8pm got lelong for vday cake hee...

And I made him carry the rose ard Toa Payoh Central haha! And we jus sit at Toa Payoh Central, one of the benches and finished the cake. Not bad. Not too sweet, for a chocolate cake I should say. The auntie nv lie to me heh heh.....

Then we got a rose for his mum also. Since his dad ain't ard, we share share one for his mum also not bad hee... Jus glad his mum likes it...

I got FLOWER for my boyfriend!! Hahaha... He so paiseh... And I was like walking and shouting, "My boy boy got flower! The rose not mine, is his one!" Hahaha.... make him paiseh heehee...

But nice nice, like my vday for 2005 haha too many spectacular liao.... Unforgettable....

I was the envy of the WHOLE Courtyard..

yes, my title is NOT a boast... That was what the waitress told me at the Courtyard... Now I shall explain the reason why I was the envy of the Courtyard.

Its becos, dear Steffan was SOOO SWEEEET!!!

Ok, shall start from the beginning of the day first. I think today is the BEST day since I brought him home.

First, once I woke up, my mum asked if he wants to come over for lunch! I was like "huh, since when my mum so gd to him". Some more she say she making sharks' fin and prawns so ask him over. But his mum was home alone, and she wanted to get a new washing machine, so I thought he should stay home. Some more I was going over to his place later to meet his mum, so it's better I dun minus points for myself. Anyhow, I told my mum la. And she actually said she'll leave some food for him. Especially the sharks' fin soup! I was like "Wah! What happened sia?"

Then, when he came over to have the soup, my mum invited him to the RC dinner on the 19th Feb. My family only started going to the RC dinner thing cos we thought it was rather cheap and the food wasn't too bad lo. Some more got lucky draw. And given that we won 2 prizes last year!! We kinda make it a point to go every year and try our luck. I should say not bad lo. For $20 u get like sharks' fin and the usual wedding dinner dishes.

Well, my mum invited him la. To make up the numbers. At first wanted my grandma and aunt to go one to make 10. But dun noe how come they din wanna go so well, now there are 7 of us only, to eat 10 pple's food! Well, he's been invited anyhow haha another BIG surprise!

Ok, finally my turn to visit his place... Wah scared scared sia... Was having butterflies in my stomach when taking the lift to his place. Den couldn't stop giggling while walking along the corridor. Almost wanted to chicken out until his mum ACTUALLY open the door so cannot escape liao. Den when I went to wish his mum happy new year, I actually DIN see her stick out her hand!! And I let her leave her hand there la!! Stupid stupid me.. Jialat liao hope she dun minus my points.. But her mum very modern. Even more modern den my mum... Very fun also heh... Dear dear say I pass so "phew".

Ok, den it was off to town. Sent my open heart to Tiffany & Co. for polishing, before going to Crystal Jade for la mian. Yum yum... That's special vday dinner. Then, it was to Fullerton! That was the beginning of my surprise.

When I stepped into Fullerton, the captain asked the waiter to lead us to the table. And to my BIGGEST surprise, there were a bouquet of pink roses on the table already! Oh my god, I was like totally surprised lo! I was jus joking with him that I know he was going to ask the waiter to get me roses, but I WAS ONLY JOKING! And there it was, so pretty lo. They even like have the water droplets on the roses, and THEY WERE REAL DROPLETS, FRESH FLOWERS! And he actually told them to arrange the roses like 3days ago!! And the reservations for the buffet was 2 weeks ago! Its SOOO SWEEEET... and very surprised.

And to add on, a waitress actually walked up to our table, to commend on his romantic-ness. She was like "U're so romantic (to Steffan). Everyone was so envious, waiting to see who is the lucky girl to get the roses. U're the envy of the whole Courtyard.(to me!!)" And I was like stun lo.. So surprised la. Haha... Then when we were looking at the chocolate bar, she asked if it was a special occasion and stuff... Fullerton service, Ichiban! No wonder have to pay alot for the service. But if I can enjoy this type of service, I dun mind paying a price for it. They're VERY professional! This is the FIRST time where I feel tipping wasn't a waste of money.

Well, had a GREAT choc buffet lo! When u eat the choc, it doesn't taste fattening lo. Which is dangerous, since u'll end up eating alot haha... But I MUST mention the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!!! YES, CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!! Its how u eat the fondue. Instead of the fondue like those in häagen Dazs, where the chocolate is in this small saucer, u dip the fruits into the fountain!! And the strawberries are like POWER!! First, they are very big! Second, they are NOT sour at all lo!! Ha went there and cheong the strawberries also worth it. but we had hot chocolate also. There R like SO many kinds of chocolates lo. And u jus tell the gal which kind of chocolate u want and she'll cook the chcoclate drink for u, ON THE SPOT! And there are ALOT of kinda of cakes lo.... Nice nice... *drools*... But as usual, too much sweet things will also make u a bit the yeah.. heh... But ok la really enjoyed myself there... :-D

Not to mention the GREAT company I had, and the sweet sweet things he did. He even got me a present after ALL the expenses lo... But the BEST present I like is the card he wrote for me.. As to wat he wrote, sorry peeps, seceret.... But it moved me to tears...

Really enjoyed myself today. Its really and unforgettable day! Thanks so much Steffan, for making it so special.

Well, got home and told my mum.. Dad saw my flowers and said waste of money. But he dun noe the story so I forgive him.. Heh.. mum din see it at first, so she actually asked how come no flowers one. Den I showed her heehee.. and told her everything. I think she quite proud of me heehee.. I think Steffan score more points with my mum. Haha think my mum like teenager gal like that but good good, his position rising liao haha..

Tml we'll be watching movies. Our 1st movie together haha. Seems quite weird la cos we've been together for one month liao but we HAVEN'T watched a single movie together yet heh... So we decided to watch Constantine together. Even booked the ticket like 2-3 days ago haha.... Alritey, have to get ready for tml... Write more tml!

Another double date!

Jus came back a while ago from a double date with Steffan's fren, Junxian and his gf Cynthia. Not bad, had Häagen Dazs ice cream AGAIN heehee.... but we share share so not that bad hee...

Today Steffan's SO sweet la. He went to school with me, and helped me photocopy my readings. He even help me sort them and waited for my 2 hrs tutorial to end, before we meet Junxian and his gf. Thanks dear dear.. =p

Well, the four of us jus went to the River Hong Bao walk walk. Its quite disappointing this year. But we went to see something interesting, which is the teng mi (lantern riddles). It was quite interesting but its very brain cells consuming.

Wah having butterflies in my stomach cos I'll be meeting HIS MOTHER tml! Wah a bit scared scared leh.... Wonder what she'll think about me. Den its to Crystal Jade and Chocolate Buffet!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

I finally let my laptop rest for a day. It was in my room yesterday, totally untouched. I wanted it to rest for 2 days one. But then my mum wanted to play game. And also, I was VERY bored at home lo..

Kinda regretted not going for lion dance though... The intended plan was to go visiting at my relative's place and then to Steffan's place. But his mum last min had other plans, so I've got nothing to do liao.

So was feeling rather bored and was thinking should have went for chu shi. Although may not have much things to do. But at least I would be busy climbing up and down the lorry haha. And can meet Des. Been a while since I had a proper meet up with her.

Darn, now the chance over liao.. oh well... Then again, the weather today was REALLY REALLY bad lo. I was at home and I could feel the heat... I can't imagine if I was outside. And if I decide to go for the Satuday's chu shi, Des won't be going cos she has tuition. Den no point I go. Furthermore, Sat's a special day!

Today Steffan came to my house. Saturday will be MY turn! Scared scared.... But I'm looking SO forward to the CHOCOLATE BUFFET!!! Yes, its THE CHOCOLATE BUFFET! The one @ Fullerton!!! YEAH!!! Fondue and chocolates! Its to celebrate Vday in advance. So we wont become suckers to get ripped off by those resturants...

Yesterday jus went to my grandma's place. My cousin brought his gf there and it caused a super big hu-ha... Well firstly, my guy cousin's same age as me, and his gf is from China... Yes, FROM CHINA. Well, that's the gist of the big hu-ha lo. I actually have nothing against China gals, but from what I hear my uncle and my mum say... this one is a bit the.... Firstly, she was rather rude apparently to my mum. Give her ang pao then she jus stare back at her. Din even say thank you. Then, heard she caused alot of problems at my cousin's place the day before... Think minus points liao... Anyway she dun look like she'll stay for long. Poor cousin...

Yes yes, wondering what I am doing at 3am on the eve of New Year's Eve, yes, packing my stuff!

Steffan came to set up the new bookshelf, and my things are all nicely packed inside already! yes, finally a decent looking bookshelf for my books. Actually it can look better but its already an improvement for me liao.

I jus took my shower also. Latest ever.

Anyhow, today wasn't such a good day. Family had some negative things to say abt him.. Keep saying dating will cause me to FAIL. I'm like huh so easy ah... I mean if I wanted to fail I wouldn't have spent like 2 and half years struggling thru NUS rite. I wouldn't need to use dating as an excuse.

Anyhow, the mood not very gd now even though new year's coming. Cos i'm not very happy now. When I wake up tml it will be better... I hope.... After all, I dun really want to have a moody new year la. Not good for the rest of the year.

Tml waking up to make yu sheng. Steffan's coming to help even though he noes abt the negative stuff.. But he's cool abt it. Makes him an even nicer person.

Wonder if my mum would want to do everything or wat. But I said I wanna do it liao leh. Anyhow, shall see how things are tml when I wake up. If she has done the stuff, den I shall go out with Steffan. Away from the prying eyes, and criticism.

Ok, now on happy note. The corner of my room with all my things look decently neat now. I wonder how long it would stay that way haha... Oh, Friday I'm meeting Steffan and his fren Junxian and his gf for dinner. Yes, another double date heh heh. His frens very onz about double date one ah. But I got SS tut. Only can make it after that. Like quite fun... but hope I dun fail haha...

Busy busy day...

Today will be the longest day ever for my last semester in NUS.

Had a make-up lecture for world religions at 8am, with only about 8 pple in class including myself.

Den, headed to the library to print my Singapore Studies notes. Jus realised that next week is the mid-term already, and I have not printed out the readings. Not to mention that this Friday is the tutorial, where the tutor would ask us to reference our discussions to the readings, which I have obviously not done. But due to the short time constrain, I wasn't able to print the relevant readings yet still. Only managed to print until Lecture 3 in one hour. And mid-term is until lecture 6. Tutorial will be on Lecture 4-6. I'm SO behind time haha. Lucky I still got Friday as back up.

Met Kavitha in the library and was lamenting how far behind I was haha. To those out there taking art modules, GET UR READINGS EARLY!

Jus realised that this morning's make-up lecture was ACTUALLY for this Friday lo. So this Friday no lecture liao. Meaning Steffan cannot come crash haha.. Too bad for him I should say. If I were to crash any lecture, World Religions would definitely be the best choice! Its just SO interesting la. Telling you about it won't be enough. U have to actually sit in to understand.

Then again, since this Fri got no lecture means I would only have the SS tutorial from 4-6pm. What weird timing. But that would also mean I can go to sch like 1 or 2 pm and start to print out ALL my SS readings. Maybe read up on those that I would need for the 4pm tutorial. Its only one day, and I have to be in sch that day anyway. Should say I'm rather fortunate liao. At least I dun have to attend some make-up tutorial at weird timings. So its alright, I shall live with it, even though I can't go out with Steffan then, since he is not working *pout*... Then again think its time for him to hang out with his frens instead of me ALL his free time. Understanding leh... hahaha

Now I'm taking a break from lunch. Jus went out to meet Des to return her the VCD, came back had lunch. Was planning to go back to the library with the little time I had spare to continue my zapping mission. But felt it was very rush and I was feeling tired lo. Today is a long day. Later still gotta help my mum and stuff. So decided I shall enjoy my lunch and come up to the comp lab to update my blog. I had little time at hand anyhow, and I could feel my stomach protesting when I was downing my shredded chicken hor fun.

It will be time for 3266 lecture soon. I'm sure alot of pple will not turn up this time, since Dr Hui has decided to put up the webcast lecture. I had to wait for Steffan anyway, so might as well attend the class. And this would also mean no need watch webcast during new year. Hopefully it also means there will be less pple taking 95 haha. I think that one is fat hope haha.

SO excited!!! CHINESE NEW YEAR IS COMING!! It's like really my bestest, favouritest holiday of the year la!! Hehee.. so happy.. feeeling real happy now. Esp since all tutorials have been cancelled!! Yippeee! Lucky me!

Time for 3266 now. Feeling slightly more relaxed now. I think the aircon in the comp lab is helping alot haha. The weather is very excruciating sia.. Went out for a while jus now and I think I got sun burnt liao...

Ha bought more cookies for Steffan to eat. He's complaining he's growing fat. I think its cos of me haha always eating fatty foods and buying snacks like Ramly haha. Too bad for him. But I also got make him workout ma. Like help my mum carry groceries and make my cupboard and walk around with me haha... Tonight my bookshelf will be ready, and there will be night market shopping heee... Sorry ah auntie, lend my family ur son for tonight ok. My mother's one jus reservist come back very tired. =p

Still have to decide if I'm going for the chu 2 lion dance heh... Shall decide soon so I can tell Des. Den mebbe can plan to meet in school.

Ok time for lecture with Dr Hui. Hope this time I don't fall asleep. And hope there will be enough pple to fill the LT so that he wont notice even if I really am sleeping.

I'm home now. Jus came back from dinner with my parents. Went to have stringray! Yippee! Haha since that I'm well now, I'm gonna eat those stuff again. Took the lazy boy to see the chinese sinseh to have his wrist fixed. Haha think the sinseh very good. Alot smaller build den him but can make him winch in pain still. The wonders of accupoints haha.

Did I mention he got me new surf shorts? Haha that one we went to many places. Cos seems like size 8 was a rather popular size. And that the shops dun have very good storerooms lo. The shorts got alot of black black patches one. I think its due to the dust. But its ok.

I got him a red tshirt also for new year heehee... Think it looks quite nice. Now my house got new cupboard heheee... my aunt is waiting for him to come to my house to help fix it heehee.

Although his wrist still hurt, but the sinseh say not very serious so ok. He can still come help my mother carry vegetables and fix my cupboard haha. Exploit exploit! Hahahaha.... No la... I also got treat him nice one hahaha..

Ooo.. tml got 8am world religions lecture. Den at 2+ will be meeting Des to return her The Incredibles VCD. Must give back to her before new year. Haha ok la ok la, I'm pantang heehee....

Went to exchange my hagen daz voucher ice cream, so New Year also got hagen daz ice cream heehee not bad eh..

Now my house's VERY well stocked. And WE'RE NOT EVEN DONE YET! Still got things havent buy, which my mother is buying tml hahaha... =p But ok la. I like the feeling of CNY. It really means alot for my family cos we'll really splurge at a time like this. Den will feel special for CNY!

Also went to use up his voucher at tangs, and exchanged for my hagen daz ice cream. heh heh... Not bad.

Yesterday we also spent a long long time walking around town. But wow, the crowd was suffocating. For me at least. I think I got crowd phobia! Haha..

Des finaly decidedshe wanted to go for the Chu 2 lion dance chu shi. Wondering if I should go also. THe only thing detering me are my parents and also the thought of having to wake up like at 6am la... i nv wake up so early one leh. Other then mebbe tml, coe tml got make up lecture for world religions at 8am.

He's coming he's coming! Heee... today can see him liao. He's coming over after gym to visit the sickee (aka me!) Haha..

Ok I let him come since its his last day of work tml, before the long long holiday. Oh, shall ask him the pressing question about prawn rolls later haha...

If u're wondering wat's with the prawn rolls question, I asked my mum liao haha. I'm sure u can find the same question on Amy's blog. Anyhow, this afternoon Amy and I were wondering how prawn rolls were made. Cos it would be very weird if they were handmade lo. I mean the amount that pple buy for Chinese New Year, it would take like the whole year jus to make that amount. But if they were machine made, then would the machine have pincer looking like arms to fold the rolls and roll them? Then again, they look so perfect and uniform that its rather difficult to make them by hand rite?

So, the question is "HOW ARE PRAWN ROLLS MADE?" that is the question of today. And if there are really SUCH machines to make prawn rolls, is there a open house for it? Amy and I would like to take a look at the fascinating machine. Haha

Allergy has taken a new form..

Jus found a new allergy for me. It's luo han guo. If some of u dun noe wat it is, it's a chinese medicine that is good for cough. It's a black drink that can be found in many chinese medical halls.

Anyhow, took a sip of it yesterday, and broke out in this weird looking, itchy rash ALL over my body. Yes, its ALL over. The arms, the legs, the back, even the chest and stomach area. Included my ears and necks. The only place that was left unaffected was my face. Luckily....

Anyhow, after a nite's sleep, I was ok liao. Woke up fine and able to go to sch. Now, its back again!! But I din eat anything else leh.. oh well, anyhow. went back to the doc and confirmed it was allergy reaction. At least its nothing serious. But he said once it has started, it will occur again.. argh.. I jus hope I dun get it outside. Cos it looks really gross.

Well, went to sch, made $5 due to this survey conducted after the 3251 lecture. It was rather simple money I should say. And was still early for Amy's lunch date, so decided to spend like 10mins making $5 heh.

Went down to West Coast hawker today for lunch. Waited really long for my lor mee... And the auntie actually said she came twice to the table but did not see me. But the thing is Amy and I was sitting there la. We din even move lo. When she finally brought it over., she actually had the cheek to say I did not wave her over when she was standing far away admist the crowd. I was like huh... Since when did I have to keep a lookout of the person especially when I told her the table number already. And some more she was not near the place I was sitting lo.

Before that Amy's order came. And the uncle said it was chicken rice with egg... but I kept staring at the plate of chicken rice looking for the egg. But it wasn't there haha.. oh well, today's a weird experience for lunch.

Was looking for my preserved papaya. Went to many places but cant find it. Looks like have to go the toa payoh central or see if NTUC has it. The kind I wan eat is very rare one.... firstly, its preserved papaya, and secondly, it has to be wet kind of preserved. Not those dried ones. Hehe fussy leh..

Recently, noticed that Steffan's messages can't get through to me leh. Especially those very long sms. Only the 2nd part gets through to me only. Sometimes, even though he sends to me twice, it still nv gets through lo. Wonder if its a starhub and m1 thing. Wonder which side is having problems. But when I send sms to him its delivered. Then looks like its the Starhub side not doing their job. Have been going on for a few days actually, this lost sms thing. He finally called them last night to complain then its slightly improved now. I got 1 out of 2 sms this morning haha.

Now have to start doing the 3266 liao. Now its phase 1, meaning all the static pages have to be up. And the due date's the 21st Feb. I better start working on my online petshop. Cos I realised if I want to do a nice one, I have alot of pages to work on... Haizz more programming again...

Now waiting for Steffan to finish gym so I can call him talk to him. He's finally more free next week. Means more time together! Yeah! Missing him lots! Heh...

I'm WELL now! Ok not 100%, but I'm breathing through my nose now, and no more sneezing! Well, the throat's still not perfect too, but its not painful or anything.

Haven't been really consistent in updating my blog. Heh sorry to those that are faithfully checking back heehee...

Chinese New Year's coming. So brought Steffan home on Saturday heh. TO help my mum carry those new year goddies we were buying from Bugis. Finally, I no need lug all these things around. I have found someone else to do it haha.

Then was dinner with my mum and dad. Herm... could obviously see my parents think he look very ah beng. Cos he REALLY look very ah beng ma. Told my parents beforehand also. But I guess now seeing it for themselves is really a shock.

Sunday was home day. Steffan came babysit me. Force me to finish my proposal.... Wel, it was meant to be due on Monday so yeah really had to rush it. Den he was home for dinner.

Monday's 3266 lecture was SUPER boring lo!!! Cos I actually fell asleep during lecture lo! It hasn't happened since like a long time la. Den it was off, to Benjy's farewell dinner.

Benjy's a friend I got to know when LY, Amy, Olivia and I joined this NYP choir for NKF when I think I was in Sec 3. We also got to know a bunch of pple from NYP too. Yen Siang, Justin, Shuyi, they were the NYP choir pple. We used to hang out after the practices, to have supper and stuff. Den i guess somehow, I slowly drifted away.

Monday was like even more obvious. Was having a hard time having a conversation going even... Its kinda sad that a friend of mine is leaving, but I guess the feeling's not THAT intense. Lucky there was LY and Amy. When they were leaving, I had to follow lo. There was no point in me staying there ON MY OWN rite. I had class the next day too. And I wasnt perfectly well also. Needed my beauty sleep ma... Else how to recover rite..

Desperate housewives was VERY entertaining! Hee.. I finally understood this espisode haha.

Oh, did I mention that my mum is starting to play the "Guess do I have OT game." So, I basically jus have my own dinners now. Then she'll call me to ask if I'm going home for dinner. I din even noe she was going home lo. By the time she's back, I'm outside already. So everything's too late...

Tuesday was suppose to watch Kinsey with Deborah. But the timings are very limited. 4 and 9pm. 4pm, I'm having my lessons still lo. And 9pm is like so late! By the time the show ends, it will be 11pm liao. There goes the plan of watching Kinsey.... at least in this week.

Today was quite fun. Went out with Steffan's fren. Couple frens to be exact, Kenny and Huiling. Huiling used to be from SOC too. Jus grad last year. But I din see her around sch. Looks like SOC is quite big after all haha.

Jus went to bugis, buy new yr goodies, and oh, went to marina square food court for dinner. Strangely, its very deserted. Some more rite, it has a GREAT view. Jus that its weird to have a food court that's having the great view. A bit out la. But I'm sure i'm paying the price of the view also la. Its definately incorporated into the food price. Its nice that there isn't much crowd there. Especially good on a weekday, town area, dinner-time, seats everywhere.

Tml I'll be well again to have lunch with Amy! Yeah!!! Can go and see West Coast Hawker got wat other gd food heehee...

Ok, time to read Steffan's blog haha. That fellow now nothing do in office jus keep updating his blog. Haha.. Vday's coming... jialat dun noe wat to buy. Never buy new year present also... *guilty*. Can hint hint or not ah hahaha... Comments and suggestions welcome!!!
