First half of New Year's Eve and I'm sneezing non-stop. Argh.. Rainy day today... although the rain has stopped, the sky still looks very gloomy... But the good thing isss......
Later there will b mahjong at 5 pm heh I guess that's how I'm gonna spend my New Year's Eve heh... Fun fun! Finally a mahjong session.
Just realised that my biological clock has been set. I will wake up before 2pm regardless of the time I sleep and the weather la! Which is NOT good lo. Cos I need 10-12hrs of sleep everyday so I wont look a raccoon I looking like now. Time for my eye patches to do their job haha.
Anyhow, I woke up at 12+ today even though I slept at 4am last nite, or rather this morning! Last time I can sleep until 4pm one lo. But now... aiyah... Some more it was good weather!
Something must be not rite liao.....
And something I noticed while on the "Botero Trail" with Amy. Hey, Deb say she wanna go leh. Also can jio me heh...
Well, on the trail, we actually saw the big big Singtel building in town la. Near the esplanade that side there. I always had this impression that Singtel buildings were ALL red, other then the wording itself maybe. Anyhow, I saw the Singtel was black and white la. And I thought I was colour-blind suddenly lo! And when I asked Amy what colour was the building she say it was red la!
At that point I really thought I suddenly become colour-blind lo. Cos I kept staring and it was still black and white la. Freaked me out wor!
Finally Amy said it was black la.... haha and last nite saw the same building from the place Deb rented. And Gemz confirm with me its black and white haha.... Ok la ok la...

Oh now, another blog at 3+AM and I'm suppose to be sleeping early.. Oops.... Oh well, I was too busy reading xiaxues.blogspot.com.
Haha ok ok maybe I slow la. Most people out there would have read it liao.
But I mean slow better den never. I started cos today I spent my time at home. Had nothing much to do, so i decided to read it.
I must say its very enteertaining. And I'm still at her archives only lah haha... Her entries very long. And my eyes have gotten tired. Tml, I'll continue.
Today had a GREAT party at Orchard Park Suite (or was it Orchard Suite Park). Anyway, its in town and behind Wisma Atria, and its DAMN COOL!!
Really expensive looking, luxurious and really ex la. Heard it was $300 a nite! And Deb got the room for like 3 nites?!
Its like in town lo. So can go clubbing or go eat at the Da Pai Dang.... or jus stay in the room and watch SCV! The place is like a president suite lo.....
And damn, I'm home now, (else I wouldn't have the internet connection to blog) coz can't stay over.
I came back at 1230AM like that actually. And my dad asked why I was so late. Huh 1230Am late meh... If my frens wont leaving I dun think I would leave yet lo.
There goes my last 21st bday celebration of 2004. No stayover. Gotta thank Gloria for her ride back. Lucky still got someone staying near me or I'll have to pay for my own cab fare. Heh....
Anyway, the party was like super fun. Cos we were really making lame jokes and stuff haha... Has been some time since I laughed so much, so hard some more. And also, the bday gal, Deborah, was in this really sweet dress lo... She look so preeeetty.... Hehe.

Tmr got party!
Ok, today suppose to tell myself to sleep earlier. See if I'm successful or not. So tonight I shall blog earlier, hoping that after blogging I should be tired enough to go to bed. Tonight had dinner at Fortune Yum Cha wor! Reason: My aunt had some vouchers. So we went there to eat dinner. The stuff there are SUPER ex la. If no vouchers I think I'll never even step near there. Its really daylight robbery. (Although we went at night.). The 4 of us went and it costs us close to $115. And there wasn't much dishes.
Managed to finish planning my timetable. But alot of things can't be confirmed until I see how the bidding goes. Especially those not from my faculty one. The competition for those modules are always very high one... And the pressurizing thing is that I need to get those modules to fulfil the university thingy. Gonna graduate liao. Mixed feelings now... Quite excited to go out and see the world. But den have to leave my frens and stuff abit sad. And as everyone gets more busy, it'll be difficult to meet up and stuff. Oh well, that still a bit far la haha.. enjoy myself first. Tmr's party!!!

Yes, now is 3.24AM of 28Dec2004. Couldn't sleep until I wrote down what I did today heh heh... Else later I sleep, wake up will forget liao heh. Must write it down while the details are fresh in my mind. And also earlier on I was planning my timetable for my last semester in NUS jus had the rough sketch out.
It was an adventure of art today. Went around with Amy to see the statues by Botero. Wow, his is a rather gd sculptor I must say. I'm not exactly an arty person la. But his bronze sculptures were very nice lo. Very interesting and fat haha... But so cute. Like the big head the most. Of his sculptures that is. Its actually located at the entrance of the esplanade, Theatres On The Bay. It was drizzling when we went to take the picture, and the rain made the Head look like it was sweating. It was so cool man.
Our adventure actually began at Suntec City. There was the Woman with the Mirror there, at the convention hall there. Then, we proceeded on to the Esplanade, where most of the exhibits were. After which, we finally went to the Art Museum to see the 2 other sculptures, Dancers and Cat. And, we visited the paintings by Botero in the Art Museum. I was really impressed lo. I mean wow... I'm not an expert in such things but then I felt really different when I was looking at the paintings. Its this phrase I read from some board in the Museum "The fun is to imagine and guess." Its like when u look at a painting, its quite fun to think of what the artist is trying say through the picture and how all the details are relevant to how he feels and stuff. (Wow, I suddenly sound very philosophical") Anyway, but it was quite fun looking at his paintings. All the things are like all "fattened up". Its his style I guess. While we were at the Museum we visited the other exhibitions that were on display as well. There was Blink!, an exhibit about the history of Singapore. Amy and I almost fell asleep watching this video about the history of Singapore haha. Dun noe it was becos the place was too cosy or the film was too boring haha. The first film about Pulau Senang was rather interesting. In case u din noe, it seems like Pulau Senang used to be the place where prisoners like gangsters went for like correction order like that. They went there, built their own housing, farmed, and studied, basically making themselves self-sufficient. The film somehow depicted the prisoners as having a rather fulfilling time lo. Very occupied with alot of self-entertainment. Well, they were only gangsters, not that serious offence back in those days. So more relaxed. I forgot about the 2nd film though haha...
We continued our journey to some Art Education thing which had most activities for school groups and kids la. There was this super BIG fast food exhibit which I thought was quite cool heh heh.
After combing the whole museum, we took the Cat and finally were on our way home. It was a rather different experience given that I have NEVER been to the Art Museum the past 21 years. I dun even think we went there during our primary excursion days. If we did, den it really never left me any impression lo heh. And I haven't really looked so seriously at sculptures and paintings. Feeling quite happy experienced something new heh heh.
Herm now for some serious thoughts. Asia Tsunami Disaster. It's really a very great scale disaster lo.... First it hit so many places, and it hit a few tourists spots some more lo. A time of fun and enjoyment has suddenly become such a great disaster. Seeing those who managed to escape being swept away by the waves makes me realised that death is really up to fate one lo. If u're meant to go, u'll go. The vulnerability of life. I think the people didn't even really know what hit them.
Of cos there is a question I have that were the movement of the plates detected by the high tech machines that many countries have? Or was the plate movement sudden? Must ask Geographical pple. When i studied about tsunamis when I was in secondary sch, and seeing one animated in Armageddeon (I think, or was it the other space end of the world show. anyway,) I never thought there would be a real life one. Seeing the footages shown on tv. Its really amazing what the sea can do! Just increases my fascination with the sea. Hoping to realise my scuba dream soon.... My mum's still nagging at me for having even THOUGHT about it. Especially after the tsunami. Haizz... If I take with the NUS scuba club it will be cheaper lo. Cos alot of things student rate... but den having one semester left, I dun think I'll have much chance lo. Next time den. Jus pay more only.

A Monday
Wah today finally met up with Deseree!! Wah we procrastinated so long haha. U lah always busy going on holiday ah haha. But SO HAPPY we met up lo! Miss her so much lo. And also we got interesting things to tok abt rite hahaha.... We toked like alot of things la! Been so long hahaha.. Glad we can catch up. Its the holidays that I can catch up with my frens. Wonder next time when all of us are working, how to catch up siaz. Really wanna keep in touch man. I only din see her for like herm.... how long can't remember but hahaha got some time la. And we got so much to say! Or I got alot to say lah hahaha... Becos recently alot of interesting things happen heh... Alot of stories to tell. Planning to watch Meet the Fockers. I dun think there are free tickets this time round.... But it looks very funny leh heh...

Boxing Day
Dun mind the title. I couldn't think of anything better. Doesn't bother me whether it was boxing day or not.
Oh yesterday got my results. Got a big surprise man! The previous semester, I hoped I wouldn't get any Ds, and I really din get any D. This semester, I hope I wouldn't get any Cs, and I really din get leh! But I din say I dun wan any As leh hahaha but this sem I din get any As lo.
The project that took all my life and all my time during the semester at least got B hee so it was worth the effort.
Den it was Bahasa Indonesia, which I got B too. I think I screwed up on my final paper. Think i din really study hard enuf for it. And the past few tests was quite ok for me lo... haizz. Oh well, it was a really fun experience though. Heehee I strongly recommend this module man! Alot of people wonder how come I take BI. I couldn't get Malay la so settle for BI. Its really fun siaz. No regrets!
Information Organization, a computing mod which teaches u library science, got B- and my statz module! Wow, got B- leh. I thought I would have a C cos I din really noe what I was doing for my final paper. And i barely passed my mid-term and assignment lo. Must thank my mentor, Jin Cheng. Thanks for his last minute tuition and cheat sheet heee...
Did fairly well, but still not enough for merit. But I'll still score as high as I can. Putting in the best effort is the most important thing yeah. :-D
Recently I think I have lost track of time. Was suppose to meet Deseree on Monday, but I thought today was Monday! Dun noe wat happened sia... I even rushed to get her xmas present yesterday thinking I today gotta meet her. Even my mum was wondering how come I told her I would be out tonight. I need to rely on my organiser again liao. I thought only busy people get things mixed up. Guess even very free people also haha.
I'm suppose to be module shopping soon, since the time to bid for modules is on the 29th Dec. And so far, other then the requirements modules, I haven't decided on the other modules... I take a longer time to plan cos need to make sure no timetable clash, no exam clash, and also have to project my tutorial classes. And I also make sure my exams are as packed as possible so I wouldn't lose steam when studying. But I see my essential modules exam on 5th May I also sianz half liao. The earliest paper is 27th Apr lo. Actually its the last semester, should prolong the time in school. Din think of it until now. That's a positive thought. But i still haven decide on the modules to take haha and I keep procrastinating ha... I'll do it soon... ha
Today spent my time writing testimonials for my frens in frenster haha was trying to kill time and its been really long since I toked or saw my frens. Thought should do something nice hee... I used to have frenster when it came out earlier. But it was distracting me la. Everytime go online check. And I was really busy, so deleted my account. Now I'm back in action! Tml having plans to go swimming again. Its been some time since I last exercised, other then walking around. Feeling fat liao... A great workout would do me good. See how is tml's weather first. :-D Its quite cooling now... seems like it will rain tonight... or tml... i'll let the weather decide if I should get fit again heehee.

Christmas Day!
Another GREAT movie I jus watched hahaha... Everyday talk about movies only haha but Kung Fu Hustle wasn't THAT bad as I thought. Alot of spoofs, but alot of humour as well. And alot of pain also la hahhaa... But very funny lo hahaha!
Company was great too! Haha great job ah *Applause for company* hahaha! But my company very sotong leh.. Actually buy me cologne for xmas present hahaha... Must be buying for urself one rite. Haha n he got back one from me also. The better smelling one k. Haha
Orchard Road was like REALLY crowded lo. Felt overwhelmed with so many pple walking around. Though not sure if it was jus today public holiday or every weekend's like that. So many pple siaz! Next time must consider again before going town on public holidays.

Christmas Eve
Jus came home from watchin Ocean 12! Oh man, it was really a GREAT SHOW! I'm so glad that I've watched alot of great shows. First, it was National Treasure, and now its Ocean 12! 2nd of Jan channel 5's showing Ocean 11! Yes, Brad Pitt again! Haha, so I must say I've become a Brad Pitt fan too haha! It started when I watched oh no, I cant remember the title of the show haha... Nvm but it jus started somehow, when I watched one of his movies. Somehow I felt during his younger days he didn't look so good. But now *drools*.. Haha And Eng Wah's screen is like very big and all the close ups haha...
Haizzz, tml is the day my results are released. Almost forgot about it until my parents kept reminding me haizz... Dun feel good about this semester but oh well, a bit too late liao I guess.
Yeah! Tml going to watch kungfu heh heh! I now on movie spree liao haha. And getting real familiar with the online ticket booking system of the various cinemas. And, I conclude only GV's one is user frenly. EW's one has a constrain one the number of characters you can have in the name field. My name was too long lo and couldn't fit into the name column. My name isn't really that long but they wanted the one as it appears in the credit card. And, they book by block. Each block has a few rows of seats. And my guess is, (I hope I am wrong) if there are 2 seats left in the whole block, but they are on different rows, when you book online, U would still be able to get your tix, but u end up in 2 different rows. That will be sad.....
For Shaw, they need you to register into the system. But the problem is, after u click submit at the registration page, it hangs! So, u end up unable to use the whole system at all! Den why bother setting up an online system? Ok, to be fair, I'm not sure if mine is the only system or what, but I tried alot of times lo. Still cannot work!
One I haven't try is not Cathy, because there are very few cinemas under cathy. And it has nothing special about it.. Mebbe laterI'll try the system haha.
And GV, as I say has been the best so far. U can book online, collect the tix from any AXS station or over the counter. So far, it hasn't failed me...
All these online booking things make me lazy. When I saw the queue outside EW Suntec, I'm so glad I booked online. Paying extra has its benefits too. And I should say its worth it. At least I don't need to queue. I feel I am almost becoming the tester of online ticket booking systems for the cinemas haha. I could be paid for doing this haha.
4 more hours to Christmas. This season doesn't feel that merry even though I have alot of activities cos something's missing.. and I am not able to find it. IT has to find me...... Hope its soon.....
Haizzz, tml is the day my results are released. Almost forgot about it until my parents kept reminding me haizz... Dun feel good about this semester but oh well, a bit too late liao I guess.
Yeah! Tml going to watch kungfu heh heh! I now on movie spree liao haha. And getting real familiar with the online ticket booking system of the various cinemas. And, I conclude only GV's one is user frenly. EW's one has a constrain one the number of characters you can have in the name field. My name was too long lo and couldn't fit into the name column. My name isn't really that long but they wanted the one as it appears in the credit card. And, they book by block. Each block has a few rows of seats. And my guess is, (I hope I am wrong) if there are 2 seats left in the whole block, but they are on different rows, when you book online, U would still be able to get your tix, but u end up in 2 different rows. That will be sad.....
For Shaw, they need you to register into the system. But the problem is, after u click submit at the registration page, it hangs! So, u end up unable to use the whole system at all! 2 days before xmas
Wow... spent the whole day shopping for xmas gifts.. actually also not whole day la heh.. Was in the library most of the time heh.. Jus found out that the Hugo Boss Edition cologne is very nice. But I realized it after I bought the other hugo boss one. Aiyah..Too bad. Unless someone else needs another one haha think not... Only realised the real smell of cologne kinda like "appears" after 5 mins or so... New lesson learnt.
Another lesson learnt, NEVER do last min shopping. Although 2 days shouldn't be considered last min, but I felt like I was rushing... There were really long queues and everything is like a mess everyway! Very confusing. I was confused. And now I'm sitting here smelling like cologne.... seems like my shower gel cant cover the smell. I'll just leave it. By tml, it will be gone.

After feeding time..
Herm, another thoughtless and boring day at home. At least my mind is not wondering about which is good. :-) Recently, I managed to get my mum hooked to online bejeweled 2 haha so she's been using my laptop when she is free to play the game heh... So sometimes if some of you msg me and I nv reply den most prob its cos my mum playing game eh heh... At least she is in touch with the latest technology, all thanks to me hahaha
Been reading online stories, not blogs but stories written by people. Mostly fantasy stuff. But all not bad eh... I din noe I can enjoy fantasy stories so much. It was a good try. My next trip to the library would be to get some fantasy books.
Ooooo... xmas is jus round the corner! Meaning that new year is coming soon! Wow, 2005 is coming. Means my days of being 21 is gonna be over quite soon... Means I no more triangle also liao heh... New year, new hope, hope there will be a new beginning!

Just after feeding time
Today is dong zhi! Meaning got tang yuan to eat! Last nite helped my mum in making those tang yuan. This year we tried some "new" flavour. My mum put some gula melaka filling inside each tang yuan so when u eat its like sweet and fragrant. Not bad taste. But some tasted really sweet.

Killing time
Another day of being guai gal staying home. Managed to pack my place a bit, but still not satisfied. I think I have jus too many things and too little space... Oh well, maybe later will go see if I can clear more of m stuff away. Now trying to kill time while I wait to test out my mini ipod heh heh... I finally took it out of the box and attempt to test it. There isnt much songs for me to put in though, since i just cleaned out my laptop but have to test if it works before the waranty expires. I still gotta test my new modem... That one's a bit tougher cos its my first time seeing modems that comes with a AC adapter not sure what its used for. And if I somehow mess up my configurations, I cant come online! What horror! So wait a while first. Anyway i got no place to put my old modem. Haizz...
Its been more than 48 hours since my last exercise which means, my plan for an exercise routine got broken. I read somewhere exercise is more effective if the next exercise session is carried out within 48 hours of the previous one, so have been trying to keep to it heh.. I used TRYING. heh.. I'll jus try again later this week... or the next... See how things goes.
My mini is finally charged up. But I have no songs to put inside... darn.. its ok heh I got my wonderful brother with all the latest songs heh heh... That what elder brothers are for hee...

iPod Mini!!
Finally got my iPod mini today! Went at like 2pm and there was a really long queue. It was the first day of collection for it and there were only 3 colours left. And none of it was what I wanted! Damnzz... Both the better looking colours were out (green and yellow/gold). No choice have to settle for the pink. Wanted the silver but somehow the silver looks grey... Very dull grey.. Well, whatever colour it was, it a FREE iPod Mini. No complains there. Heh.... Its still sitting nicely in its box now heh... Wait till I more time and go read the instruction manual.
Had to give up a trip down to JB with Lingying and Amy because my mum wanted to buy pillows tml. Have to help her carry leh... Next week den go heh...

Another day out. Went to orchard to upgrade my singnet to a 1500kbps which comes with a free mini ipod which I can collect tml! YES! Finally got my mp3 player. But looks like in the new term my "burden" gonna increase liao... Oh well I'll make it. I always do heh heh... Went to look for hp, but still cant decide what to buy. Nokia 6260 has a bad review and a really bad "feel", while Nokia 7160 looks gd, costs the same as 6260 and has no Bluetooth! Nokia 7260 has the basics and looks good, but it has the basics ONLY! And Nokia 7280 is coming out soon and it looks gooooood..... Mayb I'll jus wait out to see the latest design. Mayb the prices will drop too!

Day 2
My second day of Blogspot. Was up by 730am, to jog with Deborah. Wah really cannot make it liao. Jogged 2 rounds and I couldn't go on anymore!! My stomach muscle cramp liao. Which nobody has been able to explain to me how come. I also dun noe why leh... But fortunately, ankles dun feel so bad. Maybe it has healed! Or because I din jog alot haha... Anyway, it was a gd attempt for healthy lifestyle.
Went to watch National Treasure! Had to sit at the front row thanks to my fren's lobang! But I got it free so cannot complain la... I like! I like such action/adventure thingy. Although in the show Nicholas Cage looks like he have some difficulty running haha... But overall very nice. An Indiana Jones spin-off but I liked Indiana Jones! The father and son thingy is still so heartwarming...
Saw the Kung-Fu show by stephen chow trailer.. it looks very animated. ALot of computer graphics which are not of that high quality... kinda sad. But i'll still catch it jus to see what it is all about...Unless the review very bad. Hey I wan watch ocean twelve! Anyone wanna join me? hee..
Tml another boring day for me... That's sad.. but oh well, take the time to relax home. Gotta be gd for a possibility for the stayover on the 30th *wink wink* heehee....

Haha guess I'm into writing blogs too huh. Been really bored stiff at home you see, finished watching my animes, and been rather free rotting home. Not gonna so anything fancy, jus plain me writing, so can fill my frens into what they have been missing when we cant meet up. Nothing fancy, not interested in reading the html tags. Also, cos I jus reformatted my laptop, its like an empty shell now. Nonetheless, I'm real glad if you're reading this, means I'm not forgotten.
Been trying to start a exercise routine, got a bit tanned frm some swimming.. but not dark enuf for my mum to complain. Lucky sia.. haha.. Tml going jogging with Deborah (from my sec sch days) yippee! Its good to have company when doing exercise, more motivation. YES! Its been a while since I last jogged cos of my LONG-TERM leg injury but oh well, gotta stay fit, think of the pain later.
Anyway, glad to say nothing much has happened this hols, been a really gd gal and stayed home. Which I think is the reason my dad let me stay over at Gemaine's place hahaha hope the staying over happens more often haha. But cannot b too greedy ah haha... I'll try again on deb's bday but no guarantees yet.
Oh jus wanna thank some special pple who have been listening to me when I wasnt feeling this rite these few days! Thanks all! Scmuakz! hahaha I'm really glad to have frens like u all. Think I havent really publicly said this to u all before but really glad to have u all!! There I said it haha!
Well, since I jus started den i think i should start on this day. The past has gone so its time to look ahead to the future! Which I dun have much in view but it'll come in due time heh heh... Till next time!
