Approximately one more hour

One more hour, and I will be 22 years and one day! Heh heh.. Had a really great bday this yr! Hee..

Boss really kept his word and let me off for a day!! Wah so nice of him la. So got some famous amos cookies to bring to office tml. Let everybody share. Geek this morning msged me something very disturbing.. He said he got scolded by boss again.. Which means like he got scolded ever since he confirmed lo. And he is getting really sick and tired of it. Seems like no matter wat he do he jus cant get it rite.. So he was saying if it continues, he will have to make plans lo. But then I think like that he really cheat the company money leh. He will be going off for 3 weeks reservist, which means he get pay without doing work lo. Dun noe what will boss and other pple say...

Anyhow, today's celebration was simple. I was able to slp for 12 hours! Woke up at like 12, close to 1pm, went out to meet Steffan who jus finshed sch. Den we went marina square to get the tickets for THE MAID. After that we went to Carl's Jr for lunch. It was SO disappointing! The burgers were not hot, it did not have the full menu like in the US, the burger was also very ex, where one set is close to $10. And to make things worse, there were flies flying ard!! SO gross k!! There will be no 2nd chance for them liao. So disappointed.

And after the not so nice lunch, we went to the Guan Yin Temple to pray. Been some time since we last went there. After that, we walked back to Marina Square to watch our movie. Its not really the best choice to watch a horror movie on your bday la haha. I was rather freaked out. Haha.. But it was something that after the movie, you wont think about again. So its not that bad. Especially for a local production.
After the show, we went to Burberrý and got my bday present heehee.. It's a burberry wallet heehee..

Finally, we had a decent dinner at ThaiExpress heehee.. It was simple but really good!

And on Saturday, I will be having another surprise! And not to forget the CSI DVD and the lavender rose on Tuesday heehee... Looking forward to another surprise on Sat!

The weather's really nice now hee.. Shall be having a great nite's slp tonight!

SPECIAL DAY!!!

YEAH!! IT"S HERE IT"S HERE!! Heee... My 22nd birthday!! Haha... its been 20mins since I became 22 years old heehee.. Alot have happened.

First and foremost, before I go into the details of how my GREAT, LOVELY, WONDERFUL frens celebrated for me, and how Steffan was really sweet and got me nice nice presents, I shall talk about the Dinner and Dance that was held on the 29th August 2005 at the Mandarin!

We had 10 pple at our table. The group was organised by Angela, this very nice lady from the Marcomm dept. Anyhow, she's a really cool lady I tell ya. She was very nicely dressed that day, and she won the best dressed for lady segment! And she stood up for me when GM attempted to "force" a glass of brandy water down me.

I was getting ready to leave cos Steffan was waiting for me. So I took my things and was ready to go when I saw the Gm standing in front of me lo. So he asked where I was going so I said home lo. Den he handed me this glass of transparent liquid with little ice. Den auntie came to my rescue. At first she said should ask my boss drink for me. But I couldn't find boss lo. He went home liao. Den geek was like far far away dancing away. So the auntie became my saviour! She had a glass of ice, which she poured the liquid in and she split the drink into half, and she drank half for me. And I of course gulped down my portion of it lo. It was really tasteless actually. Jus like iced water. But the effect came today la.. Shall elaborate on that later.

Anyhow, had a rather fun time, cos the auntie and I managed to saboh geek up onto stage to compete for being the hunk of SICC la. And he was so sporting that when he saw the other contestants took off their shirts, he also took it off lo.. Den he still dance the really funny dance and everyone was laughing non-stop haha.. And finally he WON!!! Not he very famous liao. Whereever he goes, everyone wants to interview him ha. Famous overnight sia! Haha..

The results of the contest was based on the number of supporters each contestants had. So we had to queue behind the participant we supported. And while Angela and I was queuing, there was this lady in red, her name is Crystal, we think she was drunk and going real crazy la. Even boss got freaked out by her la. She had her arm tightly wrapped around GM's neck and she was jumping and screaming lo. And when the GM tried to wiggle away, she actually tried to hang on to him by grabbing his arms, his glasses or anyway she can keep the GM by her side. Its so weird la. The conclusion is she is so totally drunk. ANd she does it every yr.

Somehow GM managed to escape la haha.. But I still dun understand how come I have to finish the brandy water before I can go home. I guess its jus my luck to run into him when I'm leaving.

So Steffan n I took cab back. He had been waiting for me since 9+ leh.. den he had to loiter ard Orchard area.. So i tried to come out as fast as possible. The auntie also brought me out, and waited with me until I came out about 11+. Managed to reach home before 12.

Den came back, feeling ok, so jus slp lo. Was wondering how many pple will be able to reach on time haha.. Anyhow, went to work as usual. Felt very tired lo. But I jus thought its cos I slpet too late last nite.

Den had a new assignment to do something to the Kiosk Program. So I started to do lo. Den felt headache. Thought was cos I focus too hard, which I was doing cos I was trying hard to finish the assignment since I wont b coming in on wednesday. Boss said I was having a hangover. But I din feel like I as having a hangover. Until I could'n't focus and remember what boss said. Then he had to keep repeating and I felt really tired. Was gonna fall aslp anytime kinda thing lo. But ok la. Got most of the thing done liao. Jus need to do something about the alignment part.. I jus hope its not too much work. So yeah, had my great hangover haha.. first in fact, and it was so visible.

Boss been real great to allow me off even though I'm not entitled to any lo. I jus hope I dun get him into trouble can liao.

And since I din have to work tml, I decided I should b able to hang out late. heh.. Went out with my buddies n they celebrate bday for me!! haha.. So nice lo haha.. Had a really great day today hee.. Meeting up with old frens. and knowing tml I can slp in!! Heehee..

Oh had a present from Steffan! Its a code 1 CSI DVD!!! YIPPEEE!! Hee.. and a lavender rose. the rose is very nice lo. I shall try keep it heehee.. Wah feeling real tired liao. Think the vodka I had at kbox plus the hangover is taking its toll on me ha.

Bedtime! Tml going to watch the Maid and have Carl's JR for dinner!! heehee... Happy Birthday to MYSELF!!! (",)

Watched the Initial D vcd just now. Went to one of the shops at toa payoh to rent the vcd. Actually went to the Play! machine to see if they have in stock but I think the thing is too new liao.

An when we went to the shop to borrow, there was only one copy of the show left. So we jus decided to take it instead of waiting for the DVD. N when we were paying for the show. Someone else actually went to the counter and ask the guy if there was a vcd on Initial D. Haha..

Well, the show is not too bad... But there should be a Part 2 coming up soon. So sian tml gotta work again.. Haizz.. But tml Steffan no sch. So good rite.. But den so bu qiao I got D&D den cannot meet him earlier.. But still have Wednesday! Hee.. Boss let me off! Hee.. shall meet him and go watch THE MAID! ANd can slp in some more!

The radio had jus suddenly stopped playing, and there was no electricity going to ALL the eletronics at the office. And its only OUR part of the office. The membership dept have everything working fine for them leh.. Anyhow, the electrcity has been restored and now I'm jus wasting time till work ends at 1230.

Will be shopping for my dress later! Hee.. Other then wearing it to the D&D on monday, will be wearing on Sat too.. Heehee... Jus gonna get something simple, cheap and good hopefully heee...

Another 20mins to knock off.. Got really tired of my coding liao.. Haizz the problems are never ending sia.. den now I've gotta code both the client and the server side together to make sure they understand each other and can be link. Also, will have to add in the database.. I see a LONG, WINDING, NEVERENDING road ahead of me.. haizz.. I already very good that my project din become top priority liao. So i got another few months to revamp the WHOLE thing, make the thing web-based and secured! ANd I'm having alot of problem.. Solving one as I go along lo. Missing out some problems also but too tired to think liao.. When the problem happen in the testing den solve ba ha. Mainly get the main part going first..

Haizz.. Bored bored.. Shall go wash my cup den get ready to go home heehee..

Well, feeling alot better now cos it seems like my diarrhoea was triggered due to hormonal changes. So now I think things are fine.. or slightly better la.. I jus hope it stays that way..

Still down with stomach problems

Having real serious stomach problems I should say. After the charcoal pills start to be digested n leave my system, the diarrhoea started coming back again. And now, I decided to abandon the charcoal and took the Bao Ji Wan. Those small chinese medicine pills.

It's always very effective. I jus hope it works for me. I wonder wat is wrong with me in the first place... Trying my best to keep myself hydrated.

Bored bored and my stomach is churning to make me busy.. haizz.. shall rest early again...

Argh down with weird sickness again! Woke up this morning with a temperature. Thinking it was jus heatiness, or a cold which I caught over the nite, I jus drank more water and continue to slp.

Some time later, got up to get ready for my family's photo-taking session. DEn was hit by VERY bad diarrhea. Jus kep going to the toilet. So decided to take panadol to keep the fever in control, hopefully in turn keeping the diarrhea in control. Was able to feel well enough to take the photos. Den went to the library to meet Steffan who was patiently waiting for me..

DEn came home, changed to get ready to go to gym, only to feel the weakness in my legs and arms after going to the toilet so many times. Finally had to give up on gym and Steffan went on his own while I stayed home covered in medicated oil.. Woke up, thinking I was feeling better only to find that after I walk ard, the feeling to go toilet comes back again. I can jus go to the toilet to pee, and end up having diarrhea at the same time. Couldn't take it anymore and decided to take charcoal pills.

Can't think of wat I ate yesterday that could have caused this problem. Steffan had similar thing as me and he is fine. Now the temperature seems to still be there. Feeling a little warm and cold, and aching at the shoulders. I jus hope it doesn't become a cold or something. Legs are still weak. And I jus hope its nothing serious. Tml will be going to work still cos I dun wan my pay to kena cut anymore. Very not worth it.

Jus dun noe wat I should eat tml.. Mebbe it will b jus juices for me.. My turn to get stomache after Angelina.. This is bad sia. Mebbe its a way my stomach is telling me to watch wat I eat... Time to clear my tummy a little..

Anyhow, took my graduation pics liao, next week will be going to choose the pattern, and den finally develop it. Wont be really fancy like my brother's one but den I dun mind hee. I'm waiting for the one I will be taking with Steffan hee.. When either he grads, or when he finished his commando courses hee..

Think I shall go slp soon. The charcoal seems to be working, and Steffan is fixing up the new pda he jus bought at a SUPER low price ha. Now I get to play games when he is doing work haha! Hee... ok shall be more healthy after I get well...

SICC lesson 101

Today was the first day of Orientation at SICC. Quite fun la. But some of the pple are quite sian. But I think overall everyone had fun. TMl's the next day ha.

Its like so weird that after I do my morning duty, n they still bring us ard. Cos I went to explore every crook and crany liao. But the interesting thing is the ghost story Dorothy told though haha. About the place ha so cool haha.

Dinner and Dance for the company is coming up. N we got the door gift, and its a TROLLEY BAG!! Wah piang wat kind of door gift is that sia! Confirm have the SICC logo big big some more one!

Well, other than at work, home's been rather happening too. Dad sent his taxi to scrape. I think it was cos it could fetch a higher price. N also, I tink dad jus want to rest a bit b4 he goes back to work again. But today I heard he was feeling giddy and naseous again.. Getting worried for dad cos I got feeling he's feeling unwell cos of high blood pressure spike... But he jus shrugs it off as resting too much. Got pple rest too much one meh? I hope he get well really soon..

Steffan's really hardworking and doing his tutorials now. So I cannot disturb him haha. And here I am updating my blog.. Nothing else to say. Tml still have the last day of Orientation. We'll be going out to see the GREENS!! So cool!! Heehee... Anything no need do work also fun haha. Watched more of the CSI Season 4 heehee.. really nice hee.. Restraining myself from watching all the way to the end.. Trying to stick to the tv episode ha shall see how long I can curb the temptations hee..

Missing the great outdoors and exercise... Shall find some exercises to do at home tml...

Another fruitful day...

Not for me though, its for Steffan cos he managed to finish one tutorial. FOr me, my project is still in its dire straits. N I'm getting real sick of it liao. Now I'm not even confident about doing a fully functional one... Very disorientated about the program now.. Haizz.. N this Thurs and Fri got orientation some more. 2 full days gone..

But its ok. As long as the deadline dun materialize, I can always take my time and perfect the application so I can make it through the audit once and for all.

Then dun noe after that what will happen leh. Mebbe I will be bounced back to doing kiosk applications. Oh well, no point thinking too far ahead. Jus enjoy my days first ba.

Small small Singapore

Wah dun noe is Singapore really small or the Gods are helping us remember about goose.. Haha.. Went to meet Steffan at Sengkang cos that's where he gives his tuition la.

And i was on the bus reaching the Sengkang interchange until I saw Goose trying to jaywalk across the road with her fren. I thought I see wrongly but then later when I asked Steffan he say he also saw her on his way to meet me haha. That was when we remembered about the Starhub line that Goose signed under Steffan's name. The reason being signing under Steffan's name will allow her to enjoy special rates since sign under his SAF account ma. Then when they break up contract not up den cannot cancel. Now contract up liao but Steffan still gave her one month after the contract to change her line or something.

ANyway one of their common fren stood up for the gal lo. So Steffan gave her the leeway. In about 2 weeks' time will be the deadline liao. And we're jus gonna terminate the line. Wondered is should tell the guy who stood up for her about the termination.

Called up starhub today to find the exact date of end of contract. And found that the number is still under his name, and still under starhub. Dun noe is she forget or she jus wanna continuing enjoying the special rates. But anyway, if somehow or another, she manages to see this, please be reminded that the deadline for line termination is 26th August.. So I think u should change the line... Cos based on last time's agreement was like that. Hope the guy who sttod up for her reminds her lo. Else on the 27th she wont be able to call out or anything liao...

N guess wat! Steffan got NEW toy again!! Hahaha.. He actually bought the P910i!! 2nd hand, but the person havent fill in the warranty card yet one! Heeheee.. So its as good as new! N it was at a rather low rate! Hee.. 600+ only hee.. Recently he suddenly very rich sia ha. Got his Zegna cologne, den now got new gadget! Haha.. My current pay also cannot beat his vacation attachment sia haha!

Wah so late liao.. My weekend left one day only haizz.. Tml going gym!

Another slack day at office...

Its another Saturday where I have to work. And to waste time, I decide to update my blog heehee. Tha past 2 days have been ok. On Thursday boss celebrated the birthady of three pple in the Department cos our birthdays fall in the month of August. That's alot lo. Like 3 out of 6! Ha.. But then they bought the cake from the club, and it sux! Firstly, it was a yam cake, something I dun really like, but i ate it cos pple treat one ma. Den one more thing was that the yam cake hardly had any yam taste, and it also had coconut in it. The cream had a bit of flaky flaky taste also. I think its due to the coconut.

But everyone din like the cake which I think is very sad haha..

Membership has finally moved up liao. And they are invading into our space!! But they got too many things. And now that they are upstairs, our office has become more or less like a showroom. When members come up to chit chat with the gals, they will walk in all the way into the back of the IT department lo.. Usually I and Chris jus look busy and keep our noses glued to the computer. Who got time to entertain these uncles rite.. But i think soon we will have more visitors and if GO is not ard, no one can save us liao. Den we will have to be polite and start being nice to pple.

Boss jus told me 80% chance that I will not need to finish my voting system by the deadline. But still got 20% leh.. Argh.. and I still have alot of things not done yet. I think I better start doing my serial number generation thing.. Cos that is one important part and I haven even startd on it yet.. :P

But I super got no mood to work on Saturday one lo. I should be lying in bed sleeping... :(

Geek's going for reservist next week, on the 15th and 16th August. Wonder what I shall do when he is gone sia. Not that I'm gonna miss him, but there will be alot of user issues which I will have to direct to. And with him gone, left the auntie only leh.. Den her phone line confirm jam one... Mebbe shall tell boss also heehee.. Lucky I have Voting System as an excuse still err... haha

Still havent taken the family potrait for my graduation yet.. ahhh!! Better take soon sia.. B4 I totally forget about it. But my parents not very agreeing on one issue.. My dad jus wants to save money and take one together with my aunt. But my mum wants to take another one jus the four of us kinda thing. I jus hope they dun end up in a super big bicker like what happened when my brother took his grad pics.

And now I'm thinking if I should jus spend the next 3 hrs typing out more things in my blog..

Actually got nothing much to say recently. But feeling real bad that I havent been putting in effort to catch up with my frens.. I'm mostly so consumed by work. And after that, I usually jus want to stay home and rest after that. And now that the deadline is nearing, I better show boss that I am putting in effort to meet the deadline. And the key word here is SHOW... Hahaha...

My weekends are nw spent, first half working sometimes, and other times, sleeping in, and with Steffan. But now also cutting down liao. Cos he havent been doing his work. Spending too much time with other things. SO have to get him into the study mood. He got alot of stuff to do this semester. So better make sure he get all his passes sia.

I jus keep myself busy at home with my CSi d/ls and books heh.. Found a book in the library. Shall go ard see if I can find anymore ard Singapore hee. The book is of cos not as gd as the show, since all the evidence are easier to picture when u see it with your eyes. But then with the book, you can decide when u want the case to end. That's the part I like. And I can actually imagine how each character will deliver their lines. Like I was telling Chris, after so many episodes, I jus dun go for the crimes anymore. Its the characters that are keeping my so addicted to the serial. Catching every season means you see the characters developing and becoming different. I think if any of them are taken out, the show would seem so incomplete. I just hope they jus keep filming it! I wonder if they will ever have a MOVIE version of CSI heh heh..

Jus updated my weeekly report, and jus nonsened for today ha. Not planning to do anything. Super not in the mood.. Maybe later, when I'm REALLY bored and need something to help me pass time.. Think I shall go play some jigsaw puzzle thingy liao.. Cant think of wat to write anymore. Another 3 more hours to go!

Worked close to 12 hrs in office today. It started with the morning duty at 7am, den had lunch, after which I continued to work until 7pm.. Haizz.. trying to rush the deadline. And now I'm deadbeat.. Feeling so aching all over.

Jus spent the morning walking ard the place looking for weird things to happen or there any strange things I can note down. Very luckcy for me, nothing happened! Phew! Wont know how to handle it even if soemthing happened.

No more 530am for the next few weeks at least! Morning duty really sux sia. Dun noe wat is the purpose of it since u have all the guards ard already.

But the club has an interesting tentage. Its for the lunar 7th month dinner. I know they made offerings, I din expect them to have dinner and those auction even. Its being held tml, means at nite it will be very happening. So it wont be so quiet if I work late tml. Hoping I can meet the deadline.. Better still if I can end early. Den mebbe I can leave early the day before the deadline.. Haizz..

Since I'm gonna be working late, think I should better go sleep now. Heh.. shall blog more when I got more time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!

Hee, today's the 40th Birthday for Singapore. And I had a REALLY GREAT time!! I woke up at 1pm, and spent my afternoon watching CSI Season 4. After 2 episodes, I had to meet Steffan at TPY interchange. I thought I was gonna be late liao but ended up he was even later! Hahaha..

After we made our deposits into our bank acocunts, and headed down to Marina Square to take our place at Pariss International Buffet Restaurant. We went in at exactly 530pm so that we can choose our place near the window. But when we went in, the place they have given us was still a distance from the window. There were like 6 seats between us and the window. Its really weird cos they could have put us next to the window. Anyhow, Steffan went to appraoch the manager to ask if we are able to be shifted next to the window. But the manager was like saying we cant cos other pple already booked blah blah blah.. the usual excuses to try brush the complaint aside. So we jus decided to sit at where we were. Den when we went to take our food, we came to our table to find the manager shifting the tables nearer the window. So Steffan helped him, and we GOT OUT SEAT NEXT TO THE WINDOW!!! Hee... The place with SUPER great view! We saw the parachuters, and the fly past, and finally the fireworks!! I'm just glad my parents enjoy the food, and also the view of the fireworks. Hee...

And now we both back at our homes, ready for work and for sch tml.

Tml's my first day of morning duty. Means I have to reach office at 7am. And since the shuttle is only available at 645am, I will have to take the 615am bus frm the interchange.. And I would have to wake up at 530!! Haizz.. And since I havent finish my project, and have a deadline to rush, I cant leave at 330pm, even though I would like very much to leave early.. Haizz... I can go back early on another day since my boss nice enuf to let me bring the off to another day, but i dun think I can have any off all the way until September lo.. Programmer's life sux..

Here's a continuance to the story on Friday. After D went back, I smsed boss to ask if I should lock the door since I was leaving. And that was when I realised when D say he was going to sms boss, he din la. Or even if he did, he smsed to the phone that boss left in the office DUH! Anyway, so I called geek to and told him to call boss. Cos boss sounded quite angry liao. Den after that I left the office and went to meet Steffan lo. When I was having dinner with him, geek actually smsed me and told me that boss called him andhe was really angry. And to add on, he told boss that he told me he was going back later in the nite to try fix the hard disk problem. I was like WTH! How was I suppose to know u going back or not?! And how come I have to tell boss for u! but i din la. I jus said its ok, asked what boss said and stuff like that lo. He still got said by boss la. So I jus keep quiet.

Then on Monday I went back office, and geek din tell Chris about the MDS gonna crash lo. And when I asked if she is able to do her updates and things like that, he said no she cannot do. N he din tell her the reason y!!! It was until one of the aunties downstairs who asked her how come the news was outdated, then she went to take a look, and realised things she did before she went on leave did not display. So poor thing ok. Thurs she work until 12 den over the weekend nv show. ANd geek still din wan tell her wat was going on. Dun know wat the hell he up to lo. Den she also complained to the auntie downstairs, and the auntie told chris that geek said he told me that he was coming back later that nite. Den become my problem liao.

He think I his PA or I boss's secretary?! And when he said he was going to sms boss and he din, how would I know he was really gonna come back?! Later I say he coming back and later if he don't how?! How would I know if what he said to me was it jus a passing remark or did he really mean it.

But I still not as angry as Chris is with him. She's really so irritated with him taht she dun even wan look or talk to him. And on Monday geek came in happy and frenly as usual lo, when everyone else very irritated with him. Ha.. I still trying to get over it. I jus hope after that nobody will tell me anymore things liao. Cos they noe I wont pass the message on hahahaha! If that's really the case, I dun mind! Heehee...

Boss also long weekend, and din come on Monday. And since we din noe hs whereabouts, none of us wanted to answer his phone. But we managed to know he was on leave frm one of the aunties downstairs so ok la. We had an answer about his whereabouts, and were more daring to answer his calls. But fortunately, his phone din ring too much. Den me and chris were discussing about leaving the place and things like that lo. Since the place quite sucky and stuff... But we'll see.. I'll have to look for a job too, in case they decide not to confirm me.

Back to work for me tml. Think I better go slp liao..

Hee.. now sitting in office, waiting for time to pass so that later I can go down to Orchard to meet Steffan heh. He cancelled his tuition cos he too sian ha. So oh well, shall laeve early, since I found a way to solve my barcode problem heh.. Den again, been wanting to test it but still cannot leh.. Cos the printer not working.

Had my grooming course yesterday. It was quite fun la I should say hee. Teach u abt skin care and also make up lo hee.. But i still din use in the end haha. But I did buy something la. Time to salvage my skin lo. I noe its in really bad condition liao. Wanted to buy some serum for my mum for her black spots but I scared she angry. Also, I dun really noe if I have enough extra money to pay for it so yeah lo.

Will be getting the package next week hee looking forward to it hee. I was weighing the pros and cons of buying the package and doing it at home, or buying a spa package. I guess the home one is better cos can last longer also. N I dun have to worry about being asked to buy more things, or being bugged to sign more packages.

So for the later half of yesterday, I had make up on my face. Its very bland so not so obvious but my colleagues still cant get used to it. Even my boss cant stop laughing when he tok to me. Not that I look very funny la. But all of them are super not used to it ha. Even D and Angie also think I look better natural haha. I guess the make up make me lose my spunkiness(liveliness kinda thing, think that's wat its called).

But I guess yesterday was jus a fun thing. But after the session, have to come back do work lo.. so haizz..

Today Chris on leave until next monday, and so boss decided to bring us out. Its so obvious la... Haizz.. den he din even ask about Angie just told me we going out for lunch. But at least when I asked Angie she also din wanna go out lo. So she had lunch with Angela. Looks like Chris is going to hear of our lunch outing without her.. Poor gal. De mood is always different when she is ard. Boss NV steps into my area when she is working. I always have to go to his table if I need anything. But today got drastic thing happen!

The MDS aka the plasma tv server crashed la. Or should I say ALMOST crash. Now they are trying to salvage the thing and its taking VERY long. Cos they tml have an impt thing which needs the plasma. D went back liao. i wonder if boss will stay until its solved.

Gotta make my eVoting work like really soon. Cos on the 3rd week I'm gonna lose 2 days, and its not really working very well yet... Stress liao.. :( Hope I can test n finish the barcode thing, which is the main thing... another 15 mins den my bus gonna leave liao. Ok time to wash cup den can go back liao! Yippee!

Month of AUGUST!!

AUGUST liao!!! Heehee.. My favourite month of the year!

A very challenging month for me also...

Now realised I cant stay late in office anymore. Anytime after 6 will make me feel slpy. Then I cant wait to go home. Die liao. And my voting system is not really going TOO well.. Haizz..

But try my best liao. Now have to find some way to draw barcodes. I hope the pervious person left something behind. Think pple are getting to noe me liao. Or boss has done a gd job in "selling" me out la! Dun noe if its good or bad. But I must say I'm very lucky, cos even though the pple noe my name, all the maintenance and repair stuff done by Desmond only haha.

Oh, lunar 7th month coming liao. Means no more late nights, or rather lesser late nights alone for me. Not sure if everyone knows about me, but this type of thing I rather be safe den sorry. In fact, I rather believe in it. That's how chee-na I am ha. But thing is I will have to work late to rush my voting system. now trying to do as much as I can liao... Very long din go temple pray also liao.. Oh no.. Just sometimes saying thanks to gods I believe in. Should be going to the temple soon.

Been blog reading. feel rather guilty I havent been catching up with pple in real life, but through blogs. And I seem to have missed out on some of my frens' life. And I feel bad if I bring it up. Cos den they will have to re-live the 'bad' moments.

Getting used to working life now. Found that life at the club is still not too bad. I'm quite ok with my programming stuff. And its not so boring if you're involved in the activties. And this month there are ALOT of activities.. which aint that good for me cos I end up having no time to do my main responsibilities.

Realised the sad fact about being a programmer, whether hard-core or light. There will forever be deadlines. And when the deadline nears, confirm have to stay late and try to rush through. Den again, all these only happens if the scheduling not done properly, or your boss cant make up his mind (like mine).

More days of working. And Steffan gotta like wake up early for the next 3 days. Poor thing leh.. And he wakes up even earlier den me. Sunday will be his trial run at Sentosa hee.. Shall go there to help him look after his bag, and after that mebbe can tan there and play frisbee heee... Looking forward to some sun, sand and sea! :)

Of this week and next..

THis week went past like a breeze sia.. Means I'm getting closer to my deadline for the voting system. (Oh no!) Anyway, this weeks' been rather ok I should say. Other then the fact that Janice is leaving. She's this lady from another dept. Worked there less den 1 yr and leaving liao. She even found another job already.

Fri was her last day, and we had a farewell lunch.

Saturday was a pretty cool day. It was the 6th SICC Charity Swimming Carnival thingy n I was on duty in the morning lo. Jus walked around and see if the games stall pple needed my help. The rain did help me slack heh heh.. The rain in de morning allowed me to slack in the pool recep office since the games were mostly outdoors and the thunderstorm was SO big that everybody stayed indoors. So the games were like isolated for about 1hr. And the thingy started late. But i also did more den my share lo. Had to go ard put posters, den was called to help anyone who needed help since I din have much to do.

But I had to walk to the main road frm the club cos I missed the bus and it was getting late liao. Wanted to get out of the place and meet Steffan asap. So I chose to walk. The walk's rather ok cos the weather was rather cooling. But now my legs are aching like hell cos I din get to sit the whole day for close to 5hrs. And I jus kept walking around cos I din want to look like i got nothing to do or slacking. THink I did pretty well heh..

Tml's back's to work. THink I understanding how the Visual Studio works liao hope I can make more progress this week. Thurs is the grooming thingy lo. N boss gotta put me in the session with all the HODs! Haizz... Its gonna be real boring..

Dun noe wat will happen at work tml sia.. ANd wonder when I can get my pay muahaha.

Keeping track of my finances now that I getting my pay. Realised have to pay off alot of things.. Haizz

Looking forward to National Day. Cos my family will be going to Pariss International Buffet at Marina Square! Heh.. Booked a table already, by the window so that we can see the planes and the fireworks from our seats heehee.

Time to plan for retirement

Today kena another arrow by boss la. Now the eVoting system is like due in abt 3 weeks' time when I almost totally din touch it la! And my keyboard still not up yet.. Haizz.. I seriously think its a small problem only, but I havent been able to think of anything to help me.. Darn! Been the only thing I havent been able to do.

Met D today after work. And he shared with me a few investment thingy, which is quite interesting lo. And very tempting too I should say. And its something I really considering since now i still young, should take a 'gamble' with my money and earn more in future.. N i think i can trust D enough lo. He have a lot of clientale to prove his track record liao.. Herm.. Jus that now I dun have such a big lump sum.. Mebbe I shall save up these few months and make my own decisions hee.. Thinking of asking Steffan to invest too heehee.. so both of us can have money rolling in few years down the road.

Now that I gonna get some real pay soon, I think i better start planning for my retirement haha.

Today was really a special day. Cant really say how special it is, but things were really nice today.

Spent the morning at home slping until noon time! Hee.. Until I naturally woke up, which is very rare! And I finally can slp until noon. Had lunch, and spent the early afternoon at Steffan's place doing our stuff heehee... Was really a sweet afternoon. After that, we went to toa payoh Clubfit gym for our workout. Frist time I went gym with Steffan heee.. And on a Sunday some more. The indoor sports hall was filled with pple doing the teakwando grading or something like that.. Jus that there are alot of pple. But the gym was rather deserted. N i got my personal trainer! Haha.. Felt alot better after the workout hee.. Will most probably make it our weekly workout hee.. Now my tights feeing a bit sore. I wonder how it will be tml. After the workout, I had great difficulty walking down stairs sia. Now its alot better liao. My arms also aching liao. Hope I dun have to limp to work tml ha..

After going to gym, Steffan went to QBHouse to cut his hair. First day back to sch tml. Then we went down to the photo studio to ask the pricing for the family portraits. The price rather reasonable I should say. N seeing the ah pek's skill, like quite worth it.. Some more its near our place. Shall wait for my parents to decide ba. Cos not really sure who's paying for it yet hahah...

Den we went to rent a DVD from the Play! machine at toa payoh central. Heard frm my colleagues that Hide and Seek was a really good suspense thriller so went to rent it, even though it costs $4.50. There is a lower rate for some shows which costs $3.95 but, decided to stick to the movie, and both of us became rather freaked after watching the show. I really love the twist at the end of the show!! N the picture at the end of the show really set pple thinking. I could even see Steffan's hairs stand at the end of the show. Haha.. It was really worth the money sia! The show's really good!

It was dinner with my parents tonight hee went to bedok for the famous bak chor mee. ANd waited like really long cos only one stall was opened only. Hee.. Really happy. Had a great dinner too hee..

But sian that tml gotta go back to work.. Haizz.. Really miss my weekends. Next sat still got duty for some swimming carnival thing. Which means that my Saturday next week will be spent walking ard. Dun even noe wat i really suppose to do haha.

Suggested to bring my parents to Pariss International Buffet for celebration of my graduation and also cos there got something special! Heehee.. Looking forward to it. Hope my special works! Hee...

Aiya late liao. Tml gotta work.. Haizz.. havent slove my problem yet.. darn.. hope can find solution else will have to work late some more liao..

In darkness

Now sittig in office in pitch darkness haha. Cos For dun noe wat reasons, there's no light in the whole floor in our building. Went to on all the monitors to light up the room more, so can see better, and hopefully when my colleagues come they will be guided by the light to the door.. Haizz.. 2nd time this has happened. Now waiting for my colleagues to come in ha. Sure gonna frighten somebody real soon haha.

Been given new responsibilities when I just stepped into office lo. Other then the kiosk, I've gotta b the co-ordinator for some new system they are going to implement across the board. Other then the fact I have to work with MC, which is fine by me, but i also have to work with the vendors, and the representatives from the other departments. Meaning, I have to sit in their meetings and take notes lo. Which means I cant do my things and have to pay attention to tghe pple talking la. And to make thigns worse, I just had my whole day of meeting yesterday! So the things I planned to do were SO totally postponed. AND!!!! GO HAS to add in more thnigs to the kiosk and make changes to it. Making the thing NEVER finished la!!! IDIOT!! I dun mind making the changes, but i getting a bit sick of it liao leh. FAcing the codes same codes everytime lo... Haizz...

Now lights' back heh.. shall do my stuff now..

Counting the days, Steffan and I have been together for 6 months liao. To be exact, Tuesday was the actual date.

But today was more special! Cos we actually went to shop for a ring. And its not a simple ring, but we would like to call it the engagement ring. We're not going have a big ceremony or wat to say we are getting engaged, but its just like a couple ring hee..

Spent time looking for a jacket to wear for work lo. Now G2000 has like 50-40% discount. So went to look and found something decent. But I think my salary frm last month will not last me till end of month ha. Have to scrimp a bit liao. But I would need the clothes anyway lo. N month end coming soon liao hee...

After that Steffan brought me to Lee Hwa, to look at the rings lo. Haha.. Ended up buying in Toa Payoh Lee Hwa cos the person was a lot nicer, and there was something we liked. It looks VERY nice lo hee. Jus that it cost a bit la. And the best part is that pple buy those for wedding one but he buy for engagement. Market spoiler sia haha. After ring shopping we went to his house for dinner. Hee.. his dad made steak and minestrone soup leh!! VERY YUMMY lo! After dinner, I actually went into his parents' room and jus chat with his mum. Keep talking about the cross stitch she did. N she's really an expert on it lo! She got the cloth, all the different strings, now she even making a cross-stitch on their family portrait! And its VERY life-like lo! DEn we talked a bit about make up haha... until it was finally time to go home hahaha..

It was rather fun heehee..

Was really tired liao... My dark rings getting worse liao. Time for bed...
