Another loooonnngggg Saturday...

Yesh, at work again, and blogging away. This is really a good way to kill time sia! Keke... Have been playing games on my PDA since I stepped into office at 830am. But I did get somethings done. And managed to sent out an email, to indicate that I was doing my work keke.

My sensitive nose is giving me problems again. Sneezing non-stop due to the changes in temperature in office. Or mebbe someone out there is cursing me non-stop. I just upped the temp, hope will be ok. I'm pratically using up all my colleague's tissue. Haizz...

Anyhow, another 2 hours to knock off. And since I have decided that this will be the day that I slack, I din even bother to continue with my Dip project, which I am like halfway through. Shall leave it to the working hours heh heh. Boss is saying nothing about me working on my Dip project during office hours. Provided of course I can do my other stuff at the same time.

Decided that I shall go try out to apply for my Masters course even though I do not have exactly 2 yrs of working experience. Got encouraged by Des they all, and so decided to try my luck. But this may mean that I would have to stay in SICC a little longer so that I can juggle work and studies.. Hmm... I wonder.. Well, will just have to see how things goes ba. So now I am slogging for my GRE test, with books from the library. Looks quite comprehensive enough, reminds me of the time I studied for my SAT test. Have to start building on my vocabulary again. And the best part, one of my aunt's advertising client actually offers one-to-one tuition sessions for those who need help. So if I need, mebbe I can go there or something. :)

This is going to be a really long wait for the day to end sia.. Yawnzz..

Next week's gym schedule is totally changeed now cos alot of the instructors are not ard... making the planning very difficult also.. Sigh.. There's a 3 hr hip hop mararthon this Sunday. I dun mind going, but then nobody go with me quite sian. Also, its like smack in the middle of the day, so quite difficult also. Will end up alot of things cannot be done.

My mood just got spoilt.. haizz den again, like i really care. Just gonna continue slacking whole day. Think I'm allergic to my work place.. even upping the temp is not working... arghh.... sniff sniff... Shall rest then.

THe eve of xmas eve cos its after 12 liao ma. Gotta work later in the morning.. Sighzz.. But quite happy its gonna b a long weekend and very soon it will be another long weekend for the new year holidays! Heehee..

Christmas is coming.. Means that the year is also coming to an end soon.. Cant even really remember what are the things i would have done the past year, and well, mebbe when I have time I will sit here and read through my blog to see what has happened over the past year..

THis Christmas is happening! Bro's coming back with pressies, the gals are meeting up, and Steffan won't be stuck in camp! YESH!!! Hee.. Yesterday met up with deseree, Adr and Yangwei. Wah like finally make it in time before their holidays end and its been super long time.

Hee tml going to watch The Curse of the Golden Flower! Heh heh... Another show I wanna watch is the confession of Pain. Got my favourite Tony Leung! Heehee... So many things. THe year end is going to fly by.

And i am making another entry in office to prevent myself from falling asleep. I am suppose to be starting on my project for the Professional Diploma program, but I can't seem to start. I havent found a good topic and website to do u see. And also, somethnig's not rite with my computer. So I have to move to another computer which will mean I cant msn. So I'm dragging my feet on that. Other than that, the other jobs I have to do, I have fired out emails and is now waiting for feedback from the other pple.

Some need boss to make decision, and he's gonna be busy the next few days. all the way till fri. So I'm pretty much left on my own. And I can just slack away and nobody will know haha... its the holiday season, and the mind and body is sensing it. THey are on holiday mood as well! Haha.. No mood to work... I'm wondering if I can seriously survive at another place haha.

Meeting with des, adr and YW tonight! Ha.. it was a rather last min decision and so nice everyone can make it so we decide to meet la heh heh... Before the holidays come to an end la.

I actually registered for a class to learn how to make new year goodies!! hahaha. And Steffan volunteered his house' oven for me to use! heehee.. So i can really put what I learnt into use! Heehee looking forward to the class.. Hope its fun. And its at central there so very convenient! And i jus paid for it heh heh.. ANyone interested can feel free to join me.

Oh, I just got a sudden idea on what my project will be on. Ok time to be hardworking liao.

Blogger is giving me alot of problem today. Kept having script errors and loading real slowly... I'm beginning to wonder if its overloaded... Just hope not.

Anyhow, will be watching the curse of the golden flower this sat!! Yippee!! N the next thin i hope to watch is the Death Note marathon! Hahaha.. Not a big fan of Jap Manga, but it look interesting and well, never been to a movie marathon before leh. And its on a long weekend! Wat better way to spend the eve of new years' eve! Heehee..

Bro's coming back with the pressies!! Yippee!! Cant wait!

Its been raining non-stop. Kinda like it raining. Especially when I am warm and cosy at home haha. But if the umbrella is big enough when I am out there, I dun mind it too. Beginning to like Giodarno umbrellas cos they are big and sturdy. Been using them in office cos Chris has them. N its really cheap. Mebbe will go there over the weekend and buy some for home. There aint any BIG umbrellas in my house.

Hope the flood at the nursery subsides... Else I wonder how will i be going to work tml, Since the bus i take goes past there. THe bus i took today was remarkable sia. Its had like couches!! Its Nokia's effort in advertising. Its just a really expensive bus haha. Gotta be in it to experience it. So the next time you take a bus with a Nokia ad outside, be prepared!

Ha been a long while. Things to note that has happened the past week.

Went to the National Museum on Sat and i had a great time there!! Its really very nice now, and I like the way they display about the Singapore History now. Its really interactive and very informative! And you can really just spend one whole day there! There are so many stories to tell, and so we have alot to listen! And I like the place really quiet. A great place if you want to spend some time alone.

Stopped rather abruptly the last time since I was so tired and needed my beauty sleep.

Well, forgot to mention that we went for the cable car ride too!! Hahaha.. all to see the jewel box deco, and the snow. The deco from the cable car is really not bad, but the snowing was rather disappointing... I think the tanglin mall one will be better. But its all in the name of gimmicks la. And they successfully cheated us haha. But it was a good first time experience for me in the cable car!

Now I'm waiting for lunch with my dad. And bro is coming back on Xmas day with all the xmas goodies!!! Yippee!! many many xmas presents!!! Heehee.. i like!!

On Course

Here I am on course at the NUS Extension, Park Mall location, and blogging away! Hahaha...

Well, the course is really interesting, but I just can't resist the temptation la. Havent been bloggin the past few days since I was away in genting.

There is this really cool ride in Genting which I saw, but din try. ANd i am proud to say I did not bet a SINGLE cent in the Genting Casino!! But I did contribute to their economy by shopping there heh heh.

Some of their stuff are quite nice la. And although more ex den other parts of Malaysia, its still cheaper compared to Singapore. Spent about S$50 on my shopping. All transport and food were paid for by my dad heh heh. We got 2 tickets to a Mysteria, a magic show. It was a really weird show la I should say. They try to make it like a musical but the linking between the various segments was quite pathetic. Still, the magic was rather cool. And the best part was it was free! Heh heh..

My colleagues aer slogging away while I am here on my fun and itneresting course. But it will be prject time after Wed, and there are specifications to follow. I thought the project will be something you can choose your own. But it doesn't look like it now... ANother 1hr 30mins to end of day!! Can't wait!

Yes, here I am blogging again with in my office, during my work time. I'm beginning to feel redundant in office. Seriously, there is nothing much for me to be done. And most of the time I have to wait for boss to make decisions so that I can proceed on with my work. I'm wondering if boss will start to think I am stupid, and without initiative, since I pratically ask him what's the next step for everything.. But the same thing doesn't happen always, and his mood c hanges, so eventually the course of action also changes la.

So now I got time I find things to do lo.. So now I am blogging hahaha..

Tml's golf day, followed by Genting on Friday nite till Sunday. Then monday is course day! Yippee!! Until Wed. Den its back to boring work, and it will be December! Other plans including a girls night out with the gals, Bangkok trip in Feb, and many others. Now can only keep my fingers crossed about tml's trip la. Hope it wont rain leh. Then there is also the trip to Genting. Haizz. Hope my mother wont flare up during the trip. She can be very short-tempered with her own mother one..

Oh, I won the potluck yesterday during the staff welfare dinner!! And that was cos my name was the alst one to be picked!! Haizz. It was a rather fun game la. And a very good one for a group of 30+ pple. Anyway, the game was that each person contributes $2 to the pot. And each person who contributes will drop a piece of paper with his/her name written on it into another pot. And a name is drawn. Those names called out, would mean that he/she is out of the game, and have no chance at winning the pot. And the person's name who was called out will draw the next person, so on so forth. When there are 4 names left in the pot, those whose names have not been called out will have a chance to sell their chance away. So those people, whose names were called out previously have a chance to get back intot he game by buying that chance. And when there are only 2 pple, the 2 pple can also choose to sell their chance, which both of us did not la. And the last person drawn out was by the waitress haha. And, my name was the last one left in the pot!! Hahaha.. So I got the $60+ of prize money la haha...

And as I won, I realised that this mayb a sign that I would never win in any lucky draw, since my name is always stuck at the bottom haha. So unless its reverse lucky draw, I wont have much chance haha...

And now I'm wondering what to buy for the pple with their money la. All of us are colleagues ma and its just not so nice to not buy stuff for them when the money I win is from them lo... But since I will on off tml, I shall wait till friday den buy lo heehee.. More time to think. And most pple think chocolates and sweets will do. No need spend so much heh heh...

Tml on off!! Heehee.. So sick of doing nothing and being frozen in the office... Yawnzz.. My eyes are getting more and more tired, and my eyesight is getting worse.. I should stop staring at computer screens so much liao... Sigh... Wodner when iw ill be able to save for my lasik... Its all about the $$!

Rainy month, cold month... Brrr...

Went to the Post Office yesterday to ask how much it would cost to send out the birthday card to my brother. Taking 9-14 days will be only 2.40. But if I wan to make sure that the card make it in time for his birthday, gotta take the express one, which would take 2-4 days. ANd the cost is a whooping $35!! Haizz.. But then no choice la. Gotta make sure he gets it on the day itself ma. So have to part with it. Most expensive birthday present ever... Not that we give each other birthday presents all the time anyway.

I got him to buy the CSI mug! Haha.. but not sure if he will buy or not. Cos it will be online shopping and there's no discount for it. And well, maybe will be too troublesome and stuff ba. But it will be cool if I can get it! Keke..

I'm amazed by how much I can spend even though I am not the one there haha.. remote shopping can be quite fun too. Just that I wonder if my brother is having problems finding the things I wan haha. He just sent me a pic on a dinner treat he got from his US boss. And wow was I amazed! I'll post the pictures when I get back to my home laptop, where the photos are kept. But it looked really sumptous!

I wonder when I will have enough money to go US for a tour.. Sure gonna cost a bomb man.

Argh feeling really hungry.... Cant wait for lunch.

Having a devious plan to celebrate my brother's birthday even though he is far away in the US. I hope can get some tears out of it bwahaha.

Gonna send a surprise card, and of cos a surprise video! It will be from everyone in the family!

Sent my brother another list. This time for cosmetics heehee..

Being an only child for the past few months have been tough... I feel guilty not keeping my parents company, but I need time alone with Steffan too.. Argh.. At least with my brother home, my parents got someone to talk to in a way i guess. They are not physically alone at least.

Another Saturday at Work

This Saturday is a very weird Saturday. There willl only be 2 pple working, since Margaret and Siew Yin is on leave, Boss is on course, Desmond was suppose to work with me, but then yesterday he had a small accident and so is on MC. As for Chris, I'm not sure if she is coming or not. Have to see if she will take the 845 bus in.

Now have to keep my fingers crossed and make sure nothing happens. Been entrusted to do the task of releasing email. I wonder how long I would have to do it. Margaret and Siew Yin are on leave for Mon, Tues and Wed. Then both of them will be back on Thurs. So during early next week, only boss can release mail. So I think most prob I will have to do it on MOn, Tues and Wed as well. Unless Siew Yin decides to come back to work even though she applied leave hahaha.

Hmm shall look for things to entertain myself for the next 4 hours....

ANother 2 hours to go. Just came back from solving a user's problem, where I wasn't even sure I can solve it in the first place hahaha. Fortunately it was done. Heehee.. Now there is nobody to help us out here at all!! Keeping our fingers crossed real tight that no more funny things shall happen.

Oh, yesterday I went for Hip Hop class, and guess what, the instructor is actually a person I know in NUS!! hahaha.. He was y fren's godbrother la. He used to be in dancemania, a CCA in NUS. Heard they even starred in a M1 Ad last time. ANyway, he din recognise me, fortunately. We were not close anyway. Just that I know of such a person cos he is my fren's godbrother la. But the class was fun. Think I need to get some pants to attend the dance classes. Wearing shorts make me look weird.. My tights dun help either.. Shall look for some cheap pants. I see alot of pple wearing too. And they look rather comfortable. Now I notice the trend in gym is to wear like very short and skimpy tops, but wear long pants. And the funny thing is, alot of pple are like freezing cos their tops are too skimpy. But they still choose to wear it even though they are freezing in the gym. I rather let my tshirts soak up my sweat than catch a cold. But well, after scanning around, I noticed that the most common brand around is Nike!! Hahaha...

Oh yeah speaking of which, think its time for me to buy more sport bras... Been a long time since I bought some new sport bras liao.. and I have been using them rather often these few days.. Wah more shopping and no money... Although should buy things now before the GST hike next year hahaha.. Good excuse to go crazy shopping now haha. but there is always Hongkong and Malaysia to do your shopping heh heh...

Just couldn't resist

Yeap, I just can't resist not updating my blog since I am SO free at work. Bored to tears now..

Not that I have nothing to do, but its Friday leh.. No mood to do work. And whatever I am doing at the moment is not pressing so I'm basically slacking. Even though I gotta work tml, I still love the weekends! And days boss is not in the office either! Heh heh.

A peaceful 2 days. I wonder why. Most probably cos everyone is clearing leave and all the "trouble makers" are on leave bwahahaha! But I don't mind!

Desmond just told me he was going to get married on Dec 2nd this year. But its just ROM. Fortunately, he did not extend his invitation. Don't think he will invite too. I would be in Genting with my family anyway.

But before I leave for that trip I have to look for those big-sized bithday cards to buy and send to my brother in US. Now he is all alone in the apartment, with the other female colleague staying somewhere else. Seems like he is starting to pack lunch to work. And he COOKS!! Hahaha... Super amazing lo. And it was his boss who taught him how! Haha.. i shall wait for him to come back and show us what he can whip up. I wonder if he would start to help out in the house as well. Although I hope he buys a car soon hahaha. He's driving in US too I think. Cos the weather out there is so cold that walking is pratically impossible. No more pictures from him. So I wonder how he looks like now. I hope he may somehow lose some weight. Another month...

Another year is coming to an end soon... Feeling rather sad.. Time is really flying past me. I still have so many things to do, but not enough time.. and cash.. hahaha..

It the year of the PIG!! Which means it would clash with my birth year.. oh dear.. Hmm.. then have to go pray to the tai shui. Older another year liao!!

Still another 45 mins to knock off. Hip hop and ABT class, here I come!!

Back home early since boss was not ard heh heh... Been watching my Kindaichi and enjoying it heh heh..

Now I'm at part 3, but the actors and actresses have changed... Like not so nice liao. I like the chemistry between the cast in the previous series. This new actor really not so good. But there's still the animation version which I havent watched heh heh...

Tml's Friday! Looking so forward to the weekends now, since that is the time Steffan and I meet now.. And did I mention cos I hate work, so I love the weekends? Haha..

Still got a few things I want to do... Take my GRE course and go diving.... Cant wait.. Hope I can fulfil these 2 things before Feb next year!

Another day at work..

Another carefree day at work heh heh..

Boss is away on course, and Chris is on leave. Desmond is at Bukit in the morning. So my morning is very peaceful. Later in the afternoon will have things to do, so time should fly quite fast ba. Then I am deciding if I should go orchard shopping. Just to walk around to see what's the latest fashion, and not to mention, to see if there is any good bargains. Also, I have to try out some things here so that I can ask my brother to buy back from the US cheaper heh heh. Expecially the cosmestics and perfumes lo! My brother say its really cheap with the sale and stuff.

Only he can buy the CSI dvd but den think it will be difficult la. Later get caught will have alot of problem. So I'm suppose to go to the local stores and find out all the codes and stuff and tell bro to get heh heh. Aiming for Levi's since I heard its really cheap there. Hope I dun over spend. Later when he come back not enough money to return him.. I wonder should I get the cosmestics. Mebbe facial care stuff lo. Shall go and find out which brand is good. Need to take care of my face before it worsens.

Anyhow, its going to be lunch time soon, which means desmond will be back from Bukit.. And my UAT will be starting soon. Today's a great day! I'm loving it!

I have almost successfully over-exhausted myself.

Went for golf even though I was not suppose to so anything atheletic 24hours after the donation. But feeling ok on Saturday made me think I could do it. So I went for golf la. And almost fainted.. :P

I also managed to bruise my wound to a rather big patch. Now its hurting a little la. Can see that the area is very blue-black. Even the cream doesn't have much effect. Haizz.. Hope it gets well soon...

Next time I'm gonna listen to the doctor..

Many things are going to happen in the years to come heehee.. Looking forward to it. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope everything goes as I and Steffan planned. :)

1st F 4 Bld Donation!

1st F 4 Bld Donation - First female for blood donation.

Went for my 2nd blood donation today. Wanted to go to the Bloodbank at outram. But guess wat, I got an sms last nite that tells me there is a mobile on at the HDB hub! So I cancelled my appointment with the Bloodbank and decided to do the donation at the place nearer to my home lo.

Din really trust the sms at first la. But decided to just go there and see. If there is really one den I wont have to travel so far also ma. I could still go down to the Bloodbank later if I wanted to.

Went to level 10, and guess wat, it was actually a blood donation drive by this PropNex company. So most of the pple there were from PropNex lo. Lucky there was no crowd. Think blood donation is still not a big thing yet la. Anyway, did my questionnaire, and checkup, all the tests etc. Hmm strangely, this time it was not as painful as the first time leh.. I wonder if its cos the nurses are different, or I'm just getting used to it.

Well, the pple were all really nice. And I was the first female to donate!! YEAH!! haha.. Just weird that everyone there was from PropNex other then myself lo. So everybody was giving me strange looks. But I dun care la haha. My main intention was to donate blood. But being different from you were in the blood bank is that this time, there was a free gift!! Cool eh... And also a buffet lunch la. But den I skipped the lunch cos I rather eat with my dad heh heh. Still got cert some more one leh hahaha. So very different. But I felt good about myself heh heh.

Hen the nurse also very nice. She see I was girl and wanted to give me a pink bandage. But I asked her to change another colour one hahaha... And she was so nice. :) I'm so proud to be a blood donor. :) And I went all alone today haha. I din expect myself to be so brave.

Now I'm back from lunch. The vein is not hurting as bad as it was the first time I donated blood. So it will mean I will reciver better. This time there was even some cream for me to apply if the area got bruised. The first time I went also dun have leh.. Wonder if the mobile donation centers get more special attention..

The next donation will be in Feb. shall donate before the Chinese new year. Hopefully I can make it then. Calling out for more pple to join me. :)

Steffan is at the motorshow with his frens. So I shall continue with my Kindachi shows!! Or mebbe get some rest.

Will be going down to Bukit on thursday to teach the Receptionists to do something la. Hope they pick it up and learn sia.. Project is slowing down liao. And I dun want it to be because of us.. Sighzz.. Gotta be more active in the project cos the pressure is building up now. I hope things goes well...

Looking forward to learning scuba diving soon.. I wan go see the GREAT BARRIER REEF!!!! Sighzz... I really hope I can pick it up soon....

Hurt my leg during golf yesterday.. Sigh...

Went to see Ma Guang just now, and its now bandaged up. Hurt alot sia. When the sinseh massaged the ankle. I also know the sprain was rather bad since I actually heard something break... But I think mostly was muscles being injured and stuff, since it din swell up very badly. Just a little la. And I can walk, but it just felt very achy... And after alking for some distance, the ankle will hurt a little and start to feel weak. Hope it gets well... Else no gym for me would make me put my weight back..

The henna's dropping off now. Was quite surprised it would drop so fast. But its ok la. Had enough fun liao heh heh..

My course got cut!!! And its for the very lame reason that someone lost the training request form la...

So stupid can. And I gotta wait like one month.. Haizz.. not that it really matters la. But I'm just thinking how to get the signature of our Chief Financial Officer. Oh well, he looks like quite a nice uncle la. So shouldn't be too bad. Just that I would have to wait for my course and maybe I would forget those things I learnt previously..

Tml gotta change the tender specs.. Sianzz...

End of Course

I have finally finished my course and I scored a 90% in the test!! Bwahaha! Not like it was very tough la. But then it was unnerving when I clicked on the Submit button. Cos I was so worried that the results was less den 65% and I would have to re-do, which happened to some pple in the class. And how would u have any idea which answers were wrong in the first place.

The most interesting that happened HAD to be the Dinner and Dance by SICC. Boss won a prize like finally after waiting for 3 yrs! (or was it 4), anyway, it was a long wait la. And, one of our colleagues actually did a cross-dress!! I gotta post that pic up somehow... Provided I get it. Used other pple's digicam since mine is with my brother in New York.

Ha gotta thank Kavi here for all the advice. But I got a picture of the henna on my hand. And it caught SO much attention haha. I think most pple thought it was a tattoo. And thought I must have been some gal gang head or something haha. Should have seen the look on the pple's face. Those who are not afraid will only ask how long does it take for the thing to come off. I wonder what would their reaction be if I told them it would NEVER come off hahaha...

I love the pattern alot lo.. Ha.. but can't be too obvious in the Club la. Later pple take this chance arrow me leh.

And it seems like I would be back to NUS extension next Monday, if my application got through. Shall go back see tml. Have alot of things havent do leh. And I overlooked a few things.. Sighzz.. My planning is beginning to fail me. This is not good... Time to buck up!!

Feeling the effects

Been going consistently to gym and can see major results! Tummy cut down by half, and thighs have gotten smaller, and butt feels tighter I think haha. That's how I feel at least heh heh... Shall have to be consistent and keep it up! I just hope nothing will spoil it lo...

But need alot of consistency and knocking off from work on time! Going to the gym 3 times a week makes me feel really healthy lo. Although company will really be nice.

TOday's session was really good. Cos I am still feeling the effects now. Thee feeling's greater than the past few times I went. I wonder if its cos I have been doing it wrong the whole time, or I just pushed myself more this time. I just hope tml it wont make me have difficulty shopping for my D&D top! :)

GRE course have been postponed, as there is not enough pple to start a class. So I have to register for something next year. So meanwhile I have to make sure I keep the money with me and dun spend it sia.. Tough haha..

So alot of things next year.. Hope things can fall in place nicely...

Changed my blood donation again.. Cos I din wan to miss the Intro Step class on Wed. I hope I dun faint haha...
